30fps on consoles, 60fps on PCs. I won't be surprised if the PC modders get involved in stripping out the FPS and resolution limits.

Yeh, but the game is still using Creation Engine 2, which in Fallout 4 was broken (I know there's a mod for it) above 60 fps, maybe it still applies.

I do feel this will be the most stable game they release and I want to play it but waiting for the first patch might be the way. Part of me hopes they give some people an earlier head start so we find out, with enough time to grab it and start playing if it's ok.

I'm looking forward to them showing more of the ui off as the looting window that popped up was awful. Nice and fast but far to little information.

That's quite a good update actually, nothing too surprising I was pretty confident they would not have ground vehicles for example.

I'm still a bit concerned about the 1000 planets and the proceedurally generated bit with added made parts on, very much like no man's sky that....

Well, SC/SQ42 is a more refined, better performing ArmA 3 in space, while Starfield is a Fallout in space.

One is player skill driven, the other character skill driven (as the guy said it).

One is more developed towards the realistic side, with complex side gameplay, the other is tune down, simplified arcade for everyday crowd.

Procedural generation is not necessarily bad if it has enough variables to work with. Probably it won't though.

I think two more to add to that are

One is a multiplayer focus, one is a single player focus and one is less story/rpg focused and one is more story/rpg focused.

Something for everyone there in whichever title fits what the individual is looking for.
