Jesus, have you read the rules here? He can't tell you without breaking the rules as it'll be a competitor.

Quite a few places have it for £19.99 for the Standard Edition pack, and for the record i paid £15.99 for my Std Edition which should arrive today after being dispatched recorded delivery yesterday.

They don't, but they sell Xbox 360 gear which most of the retailers who sell Sup Com will also sell. Henceforth they will also be competitors.

been playing all morning and so far im really disappointed with the SP campaign
its just not fun all you do is build build build and then send you troops to kill and get slaughtered then rinse and repeat


killing the enemy ACU is a real bore
i hope it picks up when you unlock the better tech units

:(
 
I have just started the UEF Campaign. So far good, but as I loved the demo, I know things only get fun when you get the uber tech.

Did anyone else noticed that the game says it supports both Dual core and Quad core! Anyone find any good benchmarks or similar to show it off?

anywho i sure the place i ordered my supcom from will screw up and not make the release date :mad:
 
Well I've just got an email saying the game has been dispatched and will be with me in 3-5 days.... Dunno why I bothered Pre-Ordering.... :mad:
 
That place where you get the Cybran pack from really are rubbish for pre-orders now.

Back when they were new they used to be great, I remember ordering Homeworld 2 and getting it 3 days before release.

Same with Doom3 I got it 2days before release.

Now you're lucky to get it in the same week as release...
 
Mine was dispatched yesterday at 3pm, postie dropped it off at 10am this morning! :D

Will post back tonight once i've actually played it.

Oh well at least i tend to build impenetratable Maginot Lines in these sorta games ;)
 
mine has dispatched from the channel islands, if it's not there when i get home tomnorrow, which i doubt i'll probably go and buy it then sell the other one on to my friend, does it lock to an account when you install or can you pass it one to someone else without any hastle?
 
I hope my copy from the channel islands isn't in french :( the £25 is meant to be least make it worth while, but for the extras to be in french ... well thats extracting the wee to be honest !
 
my UEF Faction pack is in the mail...... fingers crossed that it makes it for 2morrow, uni halls is a "buisness" adress, so doesnt recieve mail on the weekends!

Even better, my girlfriend is away on a Hen party over the weekend (yes, the WHOLE weekend!), so no giult trips for spending excessive time in front of the one eyed god.

She's a medical student too..... wonder if i could borrow an IV drip and a catheter to avoid interuptions to my gaming pleasure?

Yes. my 8800gts doesnt blink an eye at 1920x1200. Although my cpu is quicker than yours (3GHz)
