***The Official Telltale Games Thread***

Found the Michonne episodes very disappointing in all honesty. It just got a bit too weird. Not sure if I have the appetite for more, although I did buy Tales from the Borderlands a while back which I've yet to play.

Just played episode 1 of a new frontier. Really enjoyed it, and graphics are pretty good over last season

That's good to know, I have it in my library but haven't started it yet, I was planning on waiting for all 6 episodes to be released before starting it but I'm getting a bit impatient. :)

Steam has a mid week sale featuring all the Walking Dead titles from Telltale.

They are all at 75% off except the Walking Dead Season 3 which is at 25% off.

If you haven't got any of Telltales Walking Dead stories now's a good time to grab them.

How is the Walking dead season 3 shaping up so far? Is the whole thing out yet?

Think i'll wait for it to drop to 50% or so as I dont think i'll like it as much as the first.

I haven't started it yet myself, I still need to finish both Batman and Minecraft first. It's getting mostly good reviews on Steam.

'Tangled Up in Blue'
Available to Download April 18th!

Never played these games, I'm tempted to get a series for my Mrs, she's not a gamer in the slightest but she does love watching tv series like 'Game of Thrones and the walking dead'. Am I right in saying these are point and click esq games but story focused? If not, what exactly do they entail. Thank you

My Mrs. is not a gamer and loves the Walking Dead series. The story telling is very engaging and makes you care about your characters, it results in the dialogue and action choices that you are given, very difficult at times which is fantastic (you really like feel oh **** what should I do). It also feels like you made a massive impact based on the decision you made. It's also very fun to compare what choices you made in comparison to your partner. You can pick these up very cheap on sale and they have aged very well graphically, so very little to loose.

There is very little actual gameplay, bar a few quicktime events here and there; its more about the story, characters and what dialogue choices you make. The walking dead season 1 is the only game out of my 350 games on Steam that has made me feel for the characters in the game. It's also a perfect game to chill out and play with it with a pad on the sofa.

If she likes the walking dead then the Wolf Among us is also worth a play. After that they seem to go downhill a bit.

Really liked the Walking dead series, but I wasn't keen on The Wolf Among Us. The multiple references to characters I was unfamiliar with didn't help. I wish they'd do an Indiana Jones series.

Anyone else played the Batman series? Gonna play the last episode tonight :(

Will defo be checking out TWAU soon

Their games introduced and made me fall in love with the genre, so far their only stinker has been GoT which was a huge disappointment. I still haven't played Batman nor TWD S3 but I will once they're 75% off (I always wait for a deep sale as technically they're always quite poor at launch).

Good to know, I think my Mrs will like this, it could be good for her when she's on maternity and I'm working the late shift
