The **Official** Test Drive Unlimited for PC thread

I am looking at ordering this today, I haven't played a good racing game for ages.

I want to order a steering wheel too but I can't justify the G25.

Is there any other wheel that you would suggest?

Get a Logitech Driving Force Pro - it says its PS2 only but works on PC as well - loads of people with LFS use this wheel. It works well on TDU but you need to turn the turning degree down from 900 to 450 so that you can make the tight corners.

Playing TDU on the PC with G25 and XBOX 360 controller. Both work good. Not really happy with the force feedback on the wheel, sure is strong enough, especially when car is stationory. 360 pad works fine too, just need to adjust the sensitivity settings but i use the G25 more as i get the car to turn more precisely.

I really can't imagine playing TDU with a wheel. You would be warn out after 30minutes as the game is so fast paced. I can see the controls being very sensitive and twitchy with a wheel. Get a gamepad tbh. :)

100% don't agree!!

I have a Ferrari GT 2 in 1 Force Feedback and its great.

I did 6/7 hours straight in an enzo a while back and wasn't tired at all, and its far far far easier than driving with anything else.

Wheel >>>>> *

And ill prove it in a race...

Anyone using their xbox gamepad triggers as analogue accel or brake? :) seems to work pretty well once u have it setup right for analogue.
Takes a bit of getting used to tho :)

Using my 360 pad, but just using A + B for accelerate/brake, got used to it now :)

Arn't the 360 pads meant to have force feedback? Or am i imagining that?

anyone got a list of where the delivery missions are? i cant find any of the arses
I can give you rough locations for 5 of them, if you look at screenies then look at map close shouldnt be too hard to find, didnt bother screening the rest as I'd done most of them anyway (have completed them all now :D)

3 here
and 2 here

Upto 69% completion now :)

edit: found out about the RUF's, there not in the PC version yet even though you can see them in tuner list :(

Apparently they "may" be in a downloadable car pack later on, though they were in the XBox 360 version from the start afaik

I think the game offers force feedback but Microsoft still haven't got it implemented on the PC yet with the pad. People with G25s have it working fine.

these support force feedback and have way more customization than the standard drivers

This game is greatly let down by the multiplayer side i reckon, a few bugs here and there.

My latest (in the screenshots thread but i dont reckon many people go in there much anymore)
