Atari confirm that Eden are currently working on a patch for the PC version of Test Drive Unlimited which will be available in May. With the patch Eden are working to address the following issues:
* Corrupted saved games (previously corrupted save games will not be restored)
* Game freezing / crashes
* Performance optimization
* In-game exploits
The patch will undergo thorough testing at Eden and Atari prior to release to ensure the quality. Further information will be available in due course. Thank you for playing Test Drive Unlimited.

With my rig im getting 15fps with 4x aa and hdr on at 1280x1024 res "high" detail level as well on. Is this about right or can I get more fps out of it. Im using HIS x1950pro 512mb AGP btw on 7.1 drivers. With CCC set to 8x AF with HQ on, Catalyst AI Standard and AAA set to quality.
Its about 15fps. And not very smooth. Tho 2x aa and hdr on is smoother.
Heres a pic of tdu with fraps at 4x aa HDR on, 8x with HQ AF. 1280x1024 res.

Use same settings as above but 2x AA and its more playable at 22-26fps. Using external view.

Using same settings as above from 2x AA section. Using higher res tho at 1600x1200. Fps is about 15 -20. 20 when not going too fast in the city. As shown. Now you can get 25-30 easy if you dont use AA and really you DONT need AA at such a high res as the res alone smoothes it all on 19" monitors do you?
Anyhow heres 1600x1200 2x AA and same af etc above.

I did expect a lot better fps considering the premium i payed for the gfx card which at time of purchasing in feb i think it was, was the very best agp card money could buy.
