Mmm so same price as when the first 3G was released?

What does this mean for me as a PAYG customer?

I bought my 3G in September and recently it's developed a rattle and when I took it into the Apple store in Liverpool they said I could probabaly get a replacement for free (they checked for moisture in the headphone jack and nothing there). Think I could get a 3GS replacement or if I got a new replacement.. ebay it and get 3GS for presumably, £350 PAYG?

I expected it to be an upgrade worthy of a keynote - not the same form factor with much of the "upgrades" being brought about by software that the older versions will be able to use.

So... what were you hoping it would do?

Seems like Apple are damned if they do bring the new features to the old handsets, damned if they don't.

LOL. That's horrible. Especially considering you have unlimited (mobile) 3G + WiFi already.

I tanned 8GB down last month, while without cable internet, with NetShare :p

Gah... do Americans get it better than us? When they cited $99 for the 3G iPhone, I had my hopes up for £60-70 here, then went on the store to be greeted with a nice £340 tag :/

$90 they meant on contract. not payg

u can get iphone 3g free on £30 contract. so effectively you have a better deal

Mostly, giving the base 15" the integrated 9400m only is a little cheap - just a little mind you as it's a good price for the spec and apple seem to have decided everyone can have 4GB of RAM now, which is nice...
I agree about the base 15" but everything else seems like good value for the spec, especially with the new prices.

The 17" seems like staggeringly good VFM now, especially with the price drop.

So, what is the difference between this data and my unlimited data I get on the iPhone tariff?? Terrible.
