** The Official WWDC 2012 Thread **

Obviously there is also inflation, but its amazing how they are more expensive now than what I paid for my MacPro a few years ago.

Price seems a bit steep for what you are getting, the MBA seems much more bang for buck unless you specifically need the higher spec.

I'll be honest, while the new machine is no doubt very, very nice, it was definitely not the main interest for me personally; the rest of the updates were predictable, but nothing wrong with that. The big thing for me is definitely the software, particularly ML but iOS 6 also. Going to be fantastic when they come out.

Real moment to look forward to is next year (probably) when the whole line goes "retina". Still maintain that there is limited need in such a high resolution on a computer though.

Oh, and I'm not the only one thinking they're really pushing it by bring iOS 6 out for the 3GS?

Should also add...upgradability of the new MBP is zero.

If you are on SL, do you have to go to Lion before ML? iOS6 pretty much concretes my iP5 purchase - its a tidy suprisingly substantial upgrade after iOS5...

They said you can upgrade from SL no problem - wish I'd waited on this as well :p Didn't really like Lion but this update looks gooooood :)

Is that it for iOS6??...meh nothing amazing really within the new OS. Well other than the integrated maps/nav bit...but even then, nothing to get excited about really.

Hopefully the new iphone5 will be something to get excited about ie hardware wise.

Apparently some people have seen the store up with new Mac Pro models but no new iMacs :/ What the hell Apple?!
