'Note, the SSD in the next-gen MacBook Pro is physically removable similar to the drive in the MacBook Air'

Well, that's something...

So the SSD is user replaceable and not soldered. This changes everything (again lolpun). I thought it was soldered.

I'm disappointed with the new Macbook, firstly the SSD capacity is too small and way overpriced for the 768GB version, secondly no blu-ray player!

Going to buy a new iMac today. Sick of waiting for an update - I have been waiting 2 months now. Even though the iMac is over a year old I can see Apple waiting until 2013 before updating.

Rumours are saying that the new one will have a redesign but won't be showing its face until 2013 :( Bit gutted really... but it saves me money I don't have I guess :p

I have been waiting a while for an iMac refresh, too.

2013 date may not be far off if what David Pogue says is true:

Many Apple observers also wonder if Apple thinks that desktop computers are dead, since not a word was said about the iMac and Mac Pro. An executive did assure me, however, that new models and new designs are under way, probably for release in 2013

I think I may just take the plunge now and get a current iMac.

No sd card slot on the 11inch air? The new airport express looks good, was just about to get one of the old ones so I'm glad I waited. Is it wall mountable of possible to have it on the wall socket like the old one? Also what about the iPod touch, the old one is well overdue for a replacement.

I assume they are doing that because they're under the illusion everyone with a laptop will buy the TB display so they can use the ethernet port on there... Shame about no new Mac Pros, I'm hoping to get work to get me a new one, but I need something that accommodates my TB drive and display so it looks like I'm **** outta luck for now!

Seeing as this conference is on for 5 days is there hope of further hardware launches, or do they only really do it on the first day?

Ah, so it looks like they just got CPU upgrades this year.

The demand is all consumer driven and we are lapping up their iPhones, iPads and laptops like never before, so why would they push the Mac Pro?

All of the constant other company bashing is really making me want to ditch my iPhone etc. It's quite childish to be honest.

Samsung do the same. Did you not see the sheep in the Galaxy S III teaser videos?

They've done a number of Apple related PR stunts as well.
