So I watched the stream late last night and did anyone find it hard to follow tim cook? His dramatic pauses looked like he either forgot what he was saying or was overcome with emotion with his speech, just found it a bit weird.
Phil and Scott are ok to up on stage, the OSX dude was a bit funny if a little nervous.
I don't find it strange that the iMac hasn't been upgraded, I suspect thats to give the refresh laptop range centre stage for the next few months (back to school etc), I think they'll get refreshed around late September / October, but again that is a very long time since it was upgraded last in May 2011?, not sure an iMac has gone that long before without even a minor refresh.
I also assume over time the retina screen will move and replace the whole MBP/A range, and perhaps even make it to the iMac.
iOS 6 looks cool, glad they are keeping the 3GS supported cos' I ain't got the $$$ to upgrade yet, and interesting move to ditch Google Maps, I wonder why!

Although I do worry about it not having as much info, using Yelp is one thing but is everything Google Maps has also what Yelp has? It does make sense to combine a proper ratings app like Yelp with a map solution and integrate things like OpenTable & maybe PassBook or whatever it was called but will it be a hit?
I also assume iOS6 will be released with the new iPhone in September!
Mountain Lion looks cool, as someone said its probably what Lion should have been to begin with, but you can see they've been working hard on merging the two OS's for a while now, what I've seen looks good imo, but I wonder if iCloud Tabs will catch out people who may be viewing whatever on the computer and their otherhalf notices it on their iPhone in Safari, especially if they use the same iCloud sign in!
One thing I'll miss is queuing for the dvd, was fun to go out and get a new OS, now I just click download, too easy! :/
Also I want Safari 6 now, looks much better!
