You'll want to stay away from it until about beta 2 or 3 at least. Also, it is only $99 to register a dev account if you really want it.

Went into the Apple shop (not actually an Apple shop but one of those authorised sellers) in Guildford today and they said they would be out on display either late today or tomorrow sometime and they would have stock to sell.

Will probably go in tomorrow and have a look.

I'm after either the highest MBA you can spec or the lowest MBPR you can spec.

Cheaper to pay for the UDID to be registered like I did, cost umm £5 i think.

Apple seem to have been really stingy with UK stock. US shipments only just slipped to 2-3 weeks. UK ones slipped to 2-3 and 3-4 (for mine - 750GB/16GB retina) within the hour. I appreciate they should cater to their largest and native audience first, but they're usually better than this.

I'm taking iOS6 beta 1 off my iPhone, I like it and it's stable but at 87% battery I can't cope with the usage!

It's been plugged in all day!

Of course it is cheaper, but it isn't guaranteed (or allowed, and unless said developer actually releases apps through their account, it won't be long before Apple finds them out).

Got iOS 6.0 now on iPhone 4 and there are lots and lots of differences that weren't shown at WWDC! I may upload some pictures later

I would imagine IOS6 is more stable than IOS5. 5 brought a lot of massive features that would cause big stability. IOS6 hasn't got a lot of new system tweaks. Just new app tweaks.

I really want to get a download going of mountain lion DP4. Its going to be as good as final. Lion was at DP4.

Got an awfully slow torrent going on it but its going to take half a week!

Mine was still OK from last year. Not sure why it was OK but it worked.
