Have they sorted out gestures yet? I.e. so you can go back and forward in finder, so you can scroll left and right in apps without going back/forward a page? That's what I want to know. Lion killed my workflow and fluidity.

Myths indeed about i7 chips in MBA's , i think it's more that 8gb of ram with i7 and new SSD in a 11inch machine is pretty wicked bit of kit!

Even if it does shorten life, the machine is covered for 3 years for tech support, and your going to buy a new one in 3 years anyway are you not? lol

That really doesn't hold up. The i5 is virtually identical to the i7, it's just missing hyper threading (generally pointless) and a bit of L3 cache. Factor out the faster clock speeds and the difference is hardly measurable for the vast majority of tasks.

A more accurate example would be :
i5 at full power for 6.0 seconds = heat for longer
i7 at full power doing full job 5.8 seconds = less heat

Oh, and the standard warranty is 12 months unless you buy AppleCare

Does anyone know which is the correct new ipad image to download for 3G in the uk? The dev download section has verizon or att for the cellular versions.

Well I think I'll go for 13", I have a i7 15" as my main gig machine. Will get the 13" for email, browsing and back-up DJ beast.

Just need to resist that Retina Bad Boy...

I can't even load up the hybird 'normal' (not 3D) mode. Possibly because my iPad is syncing so slowing it down. Will try after =)

Edit: Nice to see they have updated youtube.......... not.
