Mine arrives tomorrow, if I take advantage of the upgrade for £10 deal on the download of Ghosts am I able to then play it on the 360 and the One....or only the one? reason I ask is because the vast majority of the people I play Ghosts with are all still on 360 so I'd like to be able to play both.
It's no biggy as I'm mainly waiting for Titanfall on the one anyway, but it would be nice to play Ghosts on both.
 
Picked one up today. First impressions...not good at all. The new friend/party setup is extremely awkward and the whole dash in general feels very clunky. Only got battlefield 4 so far and very disappointed in it. Had a couple of random crashes and disconnects plus decided to play through some of the campaign only to find out it hasn't saved my progress although it has saved my achievements for the missions? Nice one.
 
Think I am going to sell mine. Played Forza earlier and just...no fun. No GTAV either, pointless.

BFwoe is s mess on all platforms, nothing to do with XO.

Agree on the party chat and friends listing, I imagine that will be sorted in the first update though.
 
At least MS are admitting they have things to fix....

Microsoft chief product officer Marc Whitten has said that some major updates are on the way for Xbox One, designed to address Xbox One user interface and Xbox Live issues.

Speaking to Engadget, Whitten addressed the feedback Microsoft has received regarding Xbox One, saying, “The feedback we’ve gotten is pretty valid.”

“Some of the social stuff is hidden or harder to use than it was on the Xbox 360. So you’re gonna see us come out with an update where, well, we’re going to fix those things.

“As a person who’s been pretty involved in building Xbox Live for the last decade, I take it pretty seriously when people say it’s harder to get into a party, and the defaults aren’t right, and I don’t like the model.

“So what I’m trying to do with the team is kind of theme some stuff up. Let’s take an update and really go through a big list of what we’re hearing from customers, what we know is broken with the architecture, areas that we want to improve or complete.

“I think that’s a theme you’ll really see us push on — that Live experience.”

Personally dont give a toss about the social stuff; enjoying AC4, DR3 and FM5 loads and looking forward to others in the Spring. UI is awkward, but I bought it to play games, not mess around with a UI.

Did you really spend £430 on an XB1 because you thought GTAV was going to come out on it, despite the fact there is nothing from R* to suggest it's even coming out?:confused:

Some crashing issues where sorted that happened to the XO, though at least it shows the XO wouldn't lock up and jsut crash to the home screen lol. Even the supremacy of PC users havnt been spared.
So your game mechanics and engine are completely different?..the entire engine is broken.
 
Yeah it's been very stable for me after the first patch on the PS4. I do play on smaller maps now though if that makes any difference.
 
Weird issue last night. My Xbox One wouldn't connect to Xbox Live when using a wired connection, even though it recognised the connection.

Had to unplug and use wireless. Anyone came across something similar?

Although I had read this before - went for the Piece of Cake achievement in COD Ghosts and it doesnt pop when you arent connected to Xbox Live.

Once I set up the wireless connection and went back into the game, it popped. So anytime you arent connected to Xbox Live, your achievements wont pop. Sure this has been mentioned before though
 
Anyone know if there's an easy way to turn off voice chat in games?
I think the 360 has a setting or you could set it to headset only or something.

I'm getting annoyed of the heavy breathing, screaming and all the other nonsense while playing MP :(
If I wanted all that I'd stick a headset in. Don't need it out the speakers.
