I picked up the Xbox One Elite at weekend and I am enjoying it, more-so than my PS4. However, I want a decent wireless headset for it now. I currently own the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's and I want something that is on par with them and also a mic so I can chat to my friends online...

Budget of around £150 I guess...

Cant remember but they are there, as downloaded them myself.

Is there a Backwards Compatibility tab in EA Access (cant check, at work)?
 
Just fired up the Xbone One S, couple of questions ive plugged my wireless astros in and the headphone jack to the controller (works perfectly on my PS4) and its making a squeeling sound any ideas how to combat that?

secondly what do you class as a normal (silent) xbone? no fan noise, disc noise etc? just curious as i can hear the fans and disc noise when installing a game at the moment.
 
I don't own an S (just the normal Xbone) but Disc noise when installing games is normal. My Xbone is essentially silent when gaming (as in I can't hear it at all from normal gaming distance) but I understand the S may be a little "louder" in operation.
 
Has anybody else had their one s randomly turning itself off ?
Only had this a week and today it started turning itself off. Restarted it a few times but now its at a stage where it wont even turn on. I press the power button and the light comes on and it makes the little startup up beeps then immediately shuts off.
Hm not happy. Have googled this and it appears to be a very common problem.
Have already requested a replacement from the rain forest but will now have to reinstall all my games and that takes AGES.

Had the S since the original release day and can't say I've ever had it randomly turn off.

Only completely wireless ones are the new Astro A50s (v3) and Turtle Beach Elite 800x. Please don't by the 800x though, I had them and had major issues with them resulting in a returned product.
 
a quick question, gonna be picking one of these up in the sales.

I used to have a 360 and had loads of XBLA & digital games, Ive seen that a few of them are now available on backwards compatibility, how does this work, is this part of the Xbox live sub, or do you need to re-purchase you'r old games?

Its show up in your library, as far as I remember you just download the game again, if its disc based, you use it as normal.
 
Question I've sold fifa 17 digital which came with my xbox. To prove the code works can I input it and then cancel it or does it automatically use it once typed it? Aka does it ask me to confirm after its been input or not.. I don't want scamming that's all.
 
When you enter the code it will advise of the product and then there's another step to actually redeem it IIRC. That's on xbox.com/microsoft.com, not sure on the console itself.
 
I am looking to pickup another XBox after the optical drive in my last one stopped reading discs. Looking at the current bundles, nothing really floats my boat as I already have Gears of War 4.

Don't suppose anyone has any 'inside' info on any new bundles?
