Thanks for the correction.
no worries. I thought what you said would be the case as i thought the offer to convert all gold was only when they were pushing the sub service earlier in the year, but i took the chance on saturday and it worked. the deal is actually better now than when i did it for myself as it comes with 3 months gold on top, and ea access for a month

Got an advert for "3 months ultimate for £1" on my dash. Currently don't have Gamepass but had it before (not ultimate though)

But when clicking the add it goes to a new page and says 1 month for £1?

Just picked up an Xbox One for my little one and looking to get a reasonable headset for it. Can anyone recommend one?

I was going to say the Corsair HS35 looks well rated as a budget option, but then saw the Steelseries Arctis 3 at half price (don't think I can mention exactly where as OcUK sell headsets). That's a seriously good deal in my mind, not sure if it's just a Black Friday thing.

Just had a look and managed to pick some up, Looks like a great deal on them. Many thanks for your help.

So missus decided to treat me to a few Xbox gifts. Got me a brand new steelseries arctis 9x wireless headset. Absolutely love it, better in every way than my old turtle beach 500x wireless headset although that never skipped a beat during my 5 yrs owning it. But the arctis 9x has Bluetooth so I can game whilst listening to Spotify or make/receive phone calls whilst gaming.

She also decided to buy me the new Xbox elite controller version 2 which is perfect in every way. No issues with it, build quality is spot on. Was planning to buy one as my original elite controller, the grips were starting to peel off just like my first pair. Funny how both of them started doing that just after the warranty expired lol.
But immensely happy with the version 2, much better with the stick tensioning and better hair triggers. Let’s see how the grips hold up in a few mths time, hoping they don’t start peeling off.

So xbox one X with Forza 4 and lego dlc, tekken 7 and project cars 2 for £299, is the X still worth considering now? Even though the next gen console is around the corner?

Next gen will not cost £299. I say yes, great hardware will last good few years.

Look at next gen black Friday deals in 2021.

Anyone know if its possible to share a Xbox Game Pass with a friend? I have game pass on my account on my Xbox and its set as home console. Can my fried login as me and share? Does it work like that at all?

Your friend has to set the home console associated with your gamertag as his console. So he will have to log in as you, set the home console to his and then log back in as himself. And vice versa. But you will only be able to play if you are logged in and connected to the internet. If XBL goes down, then you can't play anything under your own gamertag.

Cheers for that!
