Yea exactly, that website just completely made up that you'd need a mains powered drive. Don't understand why they'd write about something they don't know like that!

It's quite possible they just made it up, not really worth taking the risk so I just got an externally powered one anyway. I've no requirement for portability either way.

I just bought a 3TB Seagate bad boy in preparation for this, i'm running pretty low on space so this will be good timing.

It's been confirmed by major nelson that USB 3 powered HDD work fine too infact he says he is using 2 of them so i don't who

I took one of my controllers apart and now it doesn't turn on with the battery but works with the cable. Disassembled and the battery area is covered anyway, no obvious loose cables etc. Any ideas?

I resolved the problem not long after posting

Yes but it's a desktop one so it'll use a power supply.

Also bear in mind that Amazon are an OcUK competitor in this case.

Is Netflix super HD coming to the Xbox one? It's the only reason I still have my PS3 connected to my tv other than for bluray. The PS3 Netflix quality ****** from a great height on the Xbox version, I'm guessing resolution and bit rate are the differences.

Will this happen or is it Microsoft trying to migrate people to their own service?
