afaik yes, i have never paid anything more at the shop than i have seen online, i could be wrong, but even so they will be selling it for less than £35
ie: bought bioshock online for £25, and it was £25 instore as well

I think you'll find most e-tailers will endever to get the game to you on the day of release! My copy from G***play was posted this morning....

i dont know, i mentioned that i thought mentioning said competitor was against the rules yesterday, and RTM'd a post, but as nothing was done i assume it is ok ^^

It lasted 10 hours on Delta for me, I didn't find it immensely hard, the last bit was quite hard but that's about it really, it's not insanely difficult.

anyone playing this on delta...? is it really hard.. I have played every fps on hard before but this time there is a 4th setting...
i played the demo in delta, which was alright, even playing it run and gun style it was easy enough, i have no idea how hard it gets later in the game with aliens and stuff though, i'll be playing it on delta anyways
I'd edit them out if I were you, not worth the holiday you'd be risking.

tbh it would help me concentrait on Crysis when it gets here, but yes, i will edit them, if only so i stay just stepping the line
Get your German dictionaries out again. http://www.giga.de/live/ features Crysis tonight starting at 9pm. I expect they'll just play through the first level though.

Supermarkets are worth checking out if you intend to pick it up from a shop tomorrow. I got Bioshock on release day for £17.99 and the Orange Box for £26.99 from Morrisons [i don't think they're a competitor unless ocuk are going to start selling veg

any1 know why i cant choose 'very high' settings??i have the full game??? everything is on max @ 1680 x 1050 and running really smooth so i wanna see it on very high

Are you running on Vista? If you aren't then you can't pick Very High.

I tried some performance adjustments and ended up with this.
1680x1050, all high apart from the ones set at custom with the tweaks.
Looks very nice. Is the res actually 1024x768 or is it scaled down? Also, whenever i change the CVAR's or configs, it takes an age to load (due to compling or whatever), but when i get ingame everything looks messed up and rocks and bolders say "Shader Compling" or something. Is there anyway to stop it?
Also, does the game look better than all at high with what your using? Mind posting up the custom configs
