The ONE AND ONLY ***OFFICIAL*** Crysis thread - SPOILERS!

Hi Guys,

I am currently trying to beat the final boss, the one that comes out of the sea. I have managed to take out its four cannons and I am onto the bit where you destroy its laser beam arms. I manage to destroy the first arm with the TAC nuke gun but when the sheild is lowered for the second arm, the tac gun just won't lock on. Am I missing something or is this just a bug in the game?

Try reloading it. I spent nearly an hour on that part because of bugs. Every time the game saved or I quick saved and I died I couldn't get any further because the set pieces stopped working. I took out two of the four cannons, saved it and died and when I reloaded the other two cannons stopped working. One of many bugs I encountered in this game :(

Ah I see, I think I have a similar issue. I take out the the four cannons and then I quick saved and when I play the game again I reload from tha point. Next time I play I will try loading the game from the point it first appears.

Stuck on the last stand boss on the warship, I have the TEC nuc gun whatever it is, but just says 'no target selected' I pressed all buttons while pointing it at the bad guy, and tried to use the binoculars to lock on, but nothing happens, how do i lock on? :( iv only got a crate of missle launchers and always die going to and from them.
 
Once you've shot the turrets on the big boss, the VTOL gets close and lowers his shield, you then have to target the glowing blue-outlined 'arm' to the left first. Just aim at it - you'll get a targetting progress bar. Nuke that, then target the one on the right, nuke that.

Then shoot the trapdoor underneath (with RL) and bung a nuke in there.

Found the ending a bit disappointing tbh.
 
It is a bug in the game apparently - the TAC gun should start locking as soon as you point it in the vicinity of the target after pressing the right mouse button - you should see a progress bar. If it does nothing then you'll need to go back to an earlier save and try it again.

Overall as I've now finished the game too - the levels up to the mine entrance are the best in the game - after that for me its not as enjoyable to play although the experience still feels cinematic.

Overall I'm a bit diappointed but its still good fun - the power struggle MP mode is good although I see that COD 4 seems to offer a better MP experience, which I'm going to try next.
