Sorry if this has been mentioned in the past 35 pages (I'm too lazy to look, plus I dont wana risk spoilers 
) but does the game actually use multiple cores?
I've heard from a few friends that Crysis is only using one of their four cores, but all the hype around the game claims it was written for multiple cores.

I think the game is very GPU limited so it really doesn't matter much how much cores you have, they will all be waiting for the videocard.I've heard from a few friends that Crysis is only using one of their four cores, but all the hype around the game claims it was written for multiple cores.
But surely if it was using all 4 cores you would get better performance as then you can do more physics calculations? And in some areas with LOTS of action like helicopters, jets, tanks and lots of enemys you get a big slow down.
I dont understand why there is such a slow down in the snow areas because to me, personly the snow areas did not look as good.

2Gb ram, and a 8800GTS 320 and it runs 30-40 fps with 1152x864 with everything on low and the latest drivers.
Yet in SP everything on medium with 1680x1080 and its fine
Last I played was MP Beta & it ran nicely all on medium / high.
That was with my old GTS 320MB...
Buildings made of 1/8th's on an inch waffer board (with dryrott) and tin at the same guage as an old milkbottle top! The Great White shark is the hardest. Infact if you were about to be mauled to death, but you had a choice of the following animals, which would you choose?
The Lion, (king of the jungle)
The Great White shark (king of the planet)
The Crocodile/Alligator (King of the Nile)
I'd choose the Croc first, lion second then the Great White would be my last choice, cos even though he's got no feet he's the baddest of em all. Imagine a Great White shark with legs. (shudders)

A shark is bad because you are in (under) the water which makes it very hard for a human to fight effectively.
Yup thats why i thought the croc would be the easiest. Infact i reckon i could take on a croc pretty easily providing he doesn't get a tooth on me, if steve irwin could i can. I took on a young bull once and put it to the ground via a headlock when out with my m8's in the country, young and daft days lol
Sharks are merciless eating machines. Infact it shows how idiotic steve-o from 'Jackass the movie 2' was when he got in the water with tiny wimpiod sharks. I wouldn't have got in, he was really lucky when it went for his foot and it turned away at the last split second!

I rekon getting into the sea right were some piranhas are would be worse than getting eaten by a shark lol.
But they live in rivers and rarely attack humans. They go for injured (bleeding) fish or crossing land animals. A big enough shoal of em could strip your skin off in no time though.
Being trampled, tusked and trunked to death by a crazed elephant can't be a good way to go either!

Its just positive banter that could be implimented into the Sandbox 2 editor in the future

Why not been ate by a big snake?
A giant snake tried to eat a crocodile, whilst it did get it down, sort of, and kill the croc, it also killed itself as it burst:

MP for me is very smooth. 1680x1050 everything on high with 4xAA DX9 mode.

Ive seen pictures of people bitten by hippos. Now thats nasty. With teeth about 6" in diameter its like being holepunched.
