The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Jesus guys. People are forgetting the point, which was about Elon's stupid tweet and how it wasn't helpful given he was (about to be or already) on the board.

Why get distracted by a stupid attempt to make the conversation about some anal view that technically he wasn't officially confirmed 100 billion percent to the board. The point (about Elon's mistake) is still valid whether it (the appointment to the board) was final or not, but the user wants to be anal and make the conversation about something else. It's so sad to have that life but here we are.

It was the same with his lame attempt to distract from the fact that jan6th happened, and instead make it about if it was officially a coup or not.

Can you not see this is his play book? Don't talk about the fact that people just attacked the capitol, instead talk about if it was technically one wording or another.

And it's not a standard he holds up to anything trump does, as in, when trump says it's the kung flu, and users repeat that, never will dowie make a hole about how it's not technically kung or a flu, but instead those things can keep being said.

We all know that Elon was and continues to be a stupid head how he dealt with twitter. It's plainly obvious to everyone that twitter was already or about to appoint Elon to join the board, and his actions were stupid, announcing publically, something that didn't allow conversation, in too brief of a post that it obviously could be taken tooany different ways by the public, with people he'd already been having actual private conversations with that he easily could have privetly continued with. This was a mistake, whether Elon was officially on the board is just to stop you talking about the mistake Elon made.

I think it's a better option than the alternatives:

A: Continue throwing tax payer money at arms companies to maintain a never ending proxy war stalemate.

B: Instigate nuclear Armageddon.

sure it's not russian hijack/misinformation .. doubt countries soldiers will appreciate that (don't they have comms/social-media? equipment from musk)

Wonder why social media sites have not, universally, thrown off the Kardachian girl, for crypto selling scams, one of Musk's compadres in twitter top 10,
there again he has made financial disclosures himself.

His twitter is more focused on Ukraine at the moment tho... will there be more salt spilled by some if he acts in a way they deem to be "unprofessional" or dares to criticise the company he doesn't think is being run very well... how dare he do that, no one has ever done that before in the history of actions by activist investors or before takeovers.

Looks like his lawyers told him he was going to lose his case and he has no choice but to press ahead. Ouch that has it hurt with Tesla shares worth almost $100 a share less than they were when he made the offer.

Not particularly, more likely related to the case, they'd already ****ed off the judge by being a bit slack re: confirming who he'd spoken to about the takeover. He's got one communication where he's telling his bankers to delay things (ironically he cites Ukraine but lets face it tech stocks were taking a tumble anyway too) ergo his bot argument gets weakened a bit there. He's got his one insider/whistleblower but I guess he's been advised that overall his case is a bit iffy.
 
Remember all those satellites he launched? UA are now getting up to the minute intel?

The west does not want to provoke Putin, so asked Musk to appear to act like a male reproduction organ, given his history this was easy.

It's pretty genius.

There is only one reason and one reason only that Elon has now said he will in the end buy twitter, and that is because he has found out he will have to buy it and can't back down.

Better to look like he wants to purchase twitter, than have it forced on him and now he owns something that looks like junk.

I am excited to have a new twitter looney that can't be banned, someone new to replace the previous orange guy.
