He didn't deny that he told Bremmer that did he. He denied what Vice published. You can't see the difference? Now if he hadn't written anything on Bremmer's feed then fair enough but he did and he didn't deny he said it. That is all I'm saying here, I'm not saying he spoke to Putin, I'm just saying he hasn't denied what Bremmer is saying.

No you miss what is happening here. The consensus is that that is what Musk told Bremmer. Its just that Musk didnt think Bremmer would tell the public.

Dont tell Bremmer anything as he cant be trusted not to tell anyone else.

No the opposite of "Bremmer is telling the truth" is "Bremmer is not telling the truth/is lying".

Again he is denying saying he spoke to Putin in that other denial. Not that he spoke to Bremmer and said that he spoke to Putin.

Its like someone said you told them you robbed a bank on Wednesday and when asked did you rob the bank on Wednesday you say no I didn't rob the bank on Wednesday. That isn't the same as saying no I didn't tell that person I robbed a bank on Wednesday.

Exactly, presumably, he'd not seen the tweet and given it's obviously contradicted his claim he's now grasping at straws trying to claim it doesn't apply.

My money is on it'll happen, given Twitter doesn't seem particularly keen on negotiating a lesser deal.

You really are clutching at straws. The entire article is based on what Elon allegedly said to Bremmer. When asked if it's true, Elon said no, it is not. He doesn't need to explicitly state that the the claims aren't true and he didn't say that to Benner, it's already covered when he said it's not true. Further compounded when he says Bremmer isn't to be trusted.

Elon denied he spoke to putin.

Elon didn't deny he spoke to Brenmer.

It's as simple as that and as small of a point it originally was, people unable to comprehend that has made it into a big nothing, and then they have the cheek to say you're copping out now they finally understand what you're saying.

He was voted on to the board, he agreed to join the board. He then later said he wasn't joining the board. You can argue semantics all night long, its your speciality.
