The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

What is the point? That its old news? typical trump bluff and bluster from when Elon was 1st rumored to be buying twitter?

The point was that it was yet another 'attack' on men, can you imagine the outrage if some lipstick manufacturer decided to **** out an advert that told women not to be ***** to one another?

And they lost money and customers over it, capitalism at its finest. I notice they havent churned out similar guff since then so i doubt it worked for them.

It is even funnier when the rage is from people that keep going on about free speech and being alpha. Children acting like men then resorting back to children. Grow up.

Musk has crushed the hopes of Alex Jones' simps. He will not be allowed back on Twitter.

Too bad Kim, you gargled those balls for nothing.

What an arse Elon comes across as.

I get it, you didn't know trump said that 6 months ago, that's fine. There is no 'head scratching' moment as when trump posted his little diatribe people just chuckled and moved on.

Six months ago Trump was irrelevant.
Elon didn't own twitter
Trumps comments on Elon could very likely have been missed by many
Elon now owns twitter
Elopn has overseen the reversal of a policy where Trump as banned for causing an insurrection, although some will refuse to accept it, so lets say he did nothing to quell the insurrection to avoid their sensitivities.

The same people who went "not a Trump supporter but" types now are also seemingly Elon fanbois. Elon who can do no wrong and is absolutely perfect and not residing over a **** fest at twitter right now.

So the fact that Trump is back NOW is relevant NOW.

The simplest way to deal with that congnative dissonance is to try to hand wave it away and ignore it, because it hurts those brain cells ;)

Thats fine, let them. Its clear that they then need to try to self justify, X is cheaper, or I found Y is better etc.
It tells you call you need to know.

Cause..ya know..he hasnt..he bought into companies already well developed and established, he didnt create any of them. And they ALL relied massively on tax payers subsidies.
I mean, look at what he has done at Twitter, the only thing hes been left alone with, and look how badly hes doing.

This is just more nonsense, you do seem a bit credulous, previously you believe some lies about his education because some anon account on twitter says so now you're trying to pretend that Elon Musk hasn't created any companies... I mean come on...

Aside from zip2, x.com, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Company... This is all pretty well publicised, criticise him for his business decisions or his running of Twitter or his bad memes/jokes, why make up nonsense?

Eh????

Elon is now coming across as an arse because he's *not* let Alex Jones back on Twitter and has cited the death of his own child in his explanation?

Some of you guys need to take a step back from the Spaceship man bad stuff, reflexively criticising literally everything he does simply because he's Elon is likely to get pretty silly pretty quickly, it was a bit silly at times with Trump though at least he was doing dumb stuff the vast majority of the time, it's especially silly though with someone like Elon.

Trump is just as irrelevant now as he was 6 months ago  No one gave 2 ***** what he said when he posted the screengrab in question, just like no one gives 2 ***** what he says now. The only people obsessed with him seem to be folks like yourself.

I don't think it's quite as simple as you make out - psychologists the world over are calling out this challenge. I agree it's not the advert, it's more a symptom of a broader issue - we are currently doing men a huge disservice in my opinion (and others) in the lack of concern we have for their wellbeing and the overly coddled concern for women.

I have two children girl of 6 and a boy of 4.

I have absolutely no concerns about the girl - she's growing up in a world where every computer course will be weighted towards letting her in, every opportunity afforded to her. The whole educational curriculum has been restructured to support girl's learning styles (hence girls out perform boys at every level since they did this) and so on.

However, my boy is growing up and I'm amazed at how many 'boys toys' are no longer available from when I was a child - as a boy he will underperform girls at primary, secondary and tertiary education, when he goes to university, for most core subjects he will have to work harder to get the same access and or grades, he's more likely to have depression, more likely to be jailed, more likely to have a harsher sentence, more likely to commit suicide, more likely to die in the workplace, more likely to be homeless, more likely to sleep on the streets and so on and so on and so on....

Don't get me wrong, many of these are reflections of male traits (eg risk taking), but to say there's no problem out there just doesn't reflect reality.

(and yes I am defensive about my boy!)

Interesting view.
Much like representation on boards there has to be a conscious and in a way anti equality position to force for actual equality to happen in a reasonable time frame.
But at some point that also needs to be reversed.
What I think what we are seeing is that time has come in many areas now to not need to try to artificially create balance.

As a "boy" I think back to many of the boys toys I had, and I would have then, and would also now take a decent games player (console/TV) over them every single time.

Where do you get your news from? Because it seems very lacking in both recent events and logic.

Space X Tom Muller, ya know, the man who actually made and engineered the engines, Left after Musk came on. Zip2, founded 1995 and went defunct my 1999. Nuralink Max Hodax, left because Musk was a muppet. The boring company, the one that was to solve traffic issues with tunnels?...Not something to boast about with its very public embarrassing failures.
Elephant in the room of course is Tesla, tried to get everyone to believe he was a founder, faking it. Only to botch the cars and build junk.
Oh any Paypal, Musks name isnt even on the founders list.

Anyone with half a brain deems him irrelevant. Like I said you were fooled by some silly burke who made it seem that trump said what he said about Elon within the last few hours, it's okay to admit that. Then again, you lot do seem to fall for all sorts of **** about trump, nuclear codes amirite  :D

I've got no idea what your on about with nuclear codes tbh

Again, its got nothing to do with the age of the tweet.

But whatever it seems you can only handle right now and not how the past can be relevant.
I will leave you to your simple life.

How much of a brain do conservative americans have then ? because he's now highly relevant to them given he is running for president again.
Guess we'll have to wait and see how far he gets in the republican presidential primaries for that wont we, I assume he's running as a republican and not some 3rd party candidate or democrat :D

Unfortunately, when your son is old enough to post on a forum, he'll be accused of "raging" when he expresses these issues, unlike the "interesting view" that your post got.
