Yet again Elon is claiming Twitter is being transparent yet its being anything but. Release all this info to major news outlets and let their journalists pour over it. And tbh it is that much of a nothing burger that I didn't even realise it had been released until it was pointed out in here. Even right wing accounts seem unimpressed with it.

But it wasn't all lies. Dorsey confirmed in 2018 that shadow banning occurred, and he confirmed it was happening to conservatives (among others).

He also explained that the shadow banning process was automatically performed via algorithm. There was no inherent bias.

Except the shadowbanning falls outside of any AI that Dorsey claimed did the work, seeing as it was a team of people that were enforcing whatever rules they had decided to make up on the day.

I'd be interested to know just how much work this supposed AI did vs a real person.

I've also seen folks of a certain political leaning try to hand waive this away as it being part of the tos since 2018 under spam as well, just a shame that people were being shadowbanned even when they didnt break any of twitters tos just for being right leaning isn't it.

You would know(I have said many times) That when the house made a stupid law that effects my states.
The governor steps in and over rules it for those states.

Still no evidence of inherent bias. Where is it? Plenty of radical feminists were variously banned and shadow banned as well, despite being solidly left wing (some of them have been recently restored, e.g. Meghan Murphy). lol, just from the links Deuse posted...what rules did Dan Bongino break apart from being right wing? There are no strikes on his account, no rule breaks and yet he was shadowbanned as a simple example. Why do you think that was?

You know as well as I do that radical feminists were being banned because they don't follow the transwomen are real women bs that permeated Twitter higher ups.

If I had to guess, he was probably spreading misinformation about COVID. Which is the reason he was banned by YouTube.
