But it's OK to insinuate the British government are akin to Nazis despite them rescuing and housing up to a thousand illegal migrants, including many children, a week, crossing the English Channel?

Where? Gary Lineker, a prominent BBC broadcaster, said it on his Twitter page, there's a furore across the media about it.

How is it said? I am a mechanic, not a linguist, sorry. He didn't use any complicated words though, that's not his style, nor probably within his abilities.

Yeah, I don't agree with him but I think as a Sports Presenter I don't really care if he shares his personal views on Twitter. Clearly he chooses his views rather arbitrarily as he seems willing to give up his job in order to criticise the UK government, but decided his views weren't strong enough to refuse to travel to Qatar to cover the World Cup for all their crimes - which he didn't liken to the Nazis, using slave labour for example.

Absolutely, I am condemning neither Musk nor Lineker using "freedom of speech" such as various countries afford their members, merely commentating on how the two utterances have been judged somewhat differently. In Mr. Lineker's case there may be some flak, verbal or financial from his employer, the BBC, if he has broken any of the terms of his employment contract, but as freedom of speech goes in general, I don't have a problem with it. In Mr. Musk's case he may have left himself open to a charge of slander with exercising any rights to freedom of speech rashly.

He had a massive platform and calling someone a 'pedo guy' is a lot worse & more serious than the guy accusing him of doing a pr stunt and telling him to stick the submarine up his bum. That was only the start though, because Elon then hired a bogus private investigator to prove that the diver was a pedo and described him as a 'child rapist' to media.

That's a lot more than tit for tat, and even if it had just been an equivalent insult it still wouldn't reflect well on him.

He knew exactly what he was doing using the "pedo" word, an attempt to imply he was only in Thailand because he wanted to **** kids. Real scumbag move and shows exactly the kind of person he is.
