Wouldnt musk be in the Epstein files? Thats a dangerous move.

Nah, Musk was never connected to Epstein AFAIK.

i would have thought that the epstein stuff was more historic, and musk is too young/recent to be part of that clique.

i imagine the real issue is, naming those in the files (though wtf as this twitter has those files nonsense story come from), is that they are powerful people with a lot to lose. you'd be making some serious enemies.

There has never been any evidence that Epstein trafficked girls to powerful people. The only people ever accused in a court of law were Epstein and Maxwell, both of whom were convicted. His victims never named or accused anyone else.

He could easily be in there, Musk has been involved in financing startups since at least the mid 90s , Epstein was active over that period and was long before he was "outed" in 2008 ish in the media . Even then plenty of people still associated with him.

No idea if he did but Its not beyond the realms etc , theres that photo of him and Gislane Maxwell, so they may have crossed paths.

If there was any connection between them, it would have come out long ago.

Neither of these men were identified as culprits by Epstein's victims at his trial. They have only ever been accused by people who were not witnesses or accusers at his trial, in civil suits that went nowhere. The police have investigated both men, and found nothing.

Oh, and...

'Epstein Survivor Says Accusation Against Alan Dershowitz May Have Been ‘Mistake’.'

...which is a bit awkward.
Didnt Dersh admit having massages at Jeffs but claimed he never took off his tighty whiteys?

Why pay £12 million to shut her up then?

She wasn't paid to shut up. Her lawyer originally said she would not settle for financial compensation, but instead wanted Andrew to face the full force of the Law. So she challenged Andrew to face her in court and testify under oath. He agreed. She then changed her mind and decided she wanted a settlement instead, so Andrew paid up.

As to why the amount was so huge, I guess you'd have to ask her lawyer.

He said he only ever received a neck and shoulder massage from a middle aged woman, during which he would have been fully clothed from the waist down at the very least.

i'd have thought so too.

idk, maybe i'm just being niave, but i don't see the old elon being involved with that crowd, based on what little we know.

either way, i can't understand why there is this fantasy that twitter has some sort of files stored on their servers, that relate to epstein and names of who visited the island etc.

or maybe that is the reason, that's why elon bought twitter. he took one for the team. overpaid by 44 billion to protect everyone, and then since has acted the prat to cover up and draw attention to him, rather than the files he's hiding. it is at least a more beleiveable theory than what appears to be the truth, which is that elon is just so bad at running twitter and can't stop making basic mistakes.

He paid her £12 million to shut her up! Nobody pays anybody £12 million for nothing!

Agreed. It's just not his scene.

Because people want to witness pain and suffering heaped upon people they don't like, so they invent elaborate fantasies in which this occurs or could be expected to occur at some unspecified point in the future.

So why did she accept a settlement after originally saying she wouldn't do that, and instead pushing for him to testify under oath? Why did she back out when he agreed to testify? Why didn't she testify at Epstein's trial?

Correct, they pay £12 million to make their problems go away, and she was a problem for Andrew's reputation. You should be asking yourself why the police found nothing on Andrew when they investigated him.

If you or I were innocent we would go to court. If we were guilty and could afford the money we would settle out of court.

That is the last FACT you will ever get from me!

Not really sure this is always true though. If going to court is going to cost x and settle out of court is going to cost x, and you value your time etc then surely you'd measure this all up and then make a decision. Not sure it's quite that black and white all the time.

Though with a case like above, I'd personally want to go to court and clear my name. But then there has been cases of people being innocent and getting punished regardless...

Money means nothing, my innocence would be everything.
