They are not hidden, some of my passengers pull the damn emergency thing despite having the actual door button with label on it in full view.

Would you be able to share a screenshot of them? Interested to see what they look like? Not that I'll be in a Tesla any time soon as every (but one) I know that had one has now sold them, just curious as never even considered this.

It's often useful to know the facts about something before making assumptions. Very old Teslas were like that, but now they are in full view, and as other have mentioned are often used accidentally by passengers including my kids when I had a model 3!
Tesla would have been crucified if they had made a car with bulletproof windows and no manual release. Even though they aren't going to do that, you can see people here making out that they will be with zero information/experience of Teslas.
There are plenty of actual things wrong with Teslas (hence I sold mine), there is no need to invent things.
