Vaccines for covid were never much about saving the lives of the young and healthy. It was about stopping the disease spreading so much and killing as many vulnerable people.

There are plenty of young and/or healthy individuals suffering with long COVID now.
Whilst the chances like with most diseases that when your young and / or healthy you stand less chance of being killed, its almost worse to go from a healthy individual to an unhealthy individual due to COVID.
