The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

A subsidy to help 650k homes with high speed internet, replaced with nothing apparently.

Didn't Biden pass an infrastructure act that includes things like Broadband without tying them to using expensive satellite internet?

Also I can't imagine why Musk has got a load of federal agencies looking at him, i mean he's broken stock rules with his tweets on twitter that IIRC resulted in an SEC ruling that he largely ignored, he's bought out a communications platform and seems to be falling foul of various US rules on dealing with problematic content (IE potentially illegal even allowing for the 1st), he's got factories that have repeatedly been found to be breaking things like the equal rights act, and whistleblower protections, he's got a major issues with OSHA because he doesn't like the fact that basic safety things "don't look nice" and actual physical safety of workers costs time and money* (which goes against the "go fast, break things" ideas), and the EPA etc are not happy with various aspects of his manufacturing and testing programs that aren't preventing damage/cleaning up properly.

Oh and the fact that several agencies have discovered that Musk isn't quite the expert he claims to be in some things, and is not reliable to deal with when he agrees to something once he decides he knows better than the people that have spent decades cleaning up the sort of mess his ilk can create if left unchecked.

*Apparently it seems that a lot of incidents that should have been reported by law were not, even for serious injuries, and really basic safety stuff was not done so for example SpaceX has something like 10-20x the accident rate of any other rocket/satellite company, including others that are testing new rockets (really basic stuff like the routine shifting of large/light loads had no plans/training/special equipment resulting in one person ending up in a coma/vegetative state), it turns out spacex wasn't using the same level/type of safety barriers that are standard so people were getting hurt when things went wrong in static tests, and they were testing parts they knew were faulty without even taking sensible extra precautions.

I'm going off what one of the commissioners is saying. If you think they replaced it with something, perhaps you could link to it?

(now that this has more exposure) wonder what the out clause is protecting tesla against a mass class action on autopilot and the future automation many users payed out for,
this was as musk suggested meant to be their usp , nonetheless stock holders still maintaining faith in the king.
but, the wonder girl who sold the pin ***** blood test for all illnesses went to prison.

They've failed to meet the targets so they don't get the $. Isn't that how government should work, rather than just keep pouring public money into private sector that isn't meeting its obligations? Just because they haven't announced any replacement doesn't mean they aren't going to, it just means SpaceX don't get rewarded for not delivering.

And from looking though that guys Twitter feed it seems he has issues with Biden and Democrats.

Can you show me which of those companies are going to be serving the 650k homes that Starlink aren't serving anymore? Or have you just googled this? Equivalent of throwing **** at the wall
Can you at least do people the curtsey of reading what's being posted.

There's literally 484 other winning bidders. Tell you what, you tell me what or where on this map is not covered by a winner that would've been covered by the looser Musk.

Also where are you pulling that 650k claim from, please don't tell me it's from that Twitter post by the dissenting Republican.
