How Tesla and any other company is allowed to test this software on public roads is a mystery to me.
What happened to the Tate thread? Have the mods deleted it?

Ironically making it more liberal.I wonder if he will use it as an excuse to move Twitter to Texas where state laws are more favorable?
It's a valid tactic in the sense that he'd rsther you use twitters alternative, however twitter doesn't provide an alternative to tweetbot or plenty other apps that have additional features. Blocking now with no alternative = users stop going on twitter.Looks like he's chucked the toys out of the pram and blocked access for third-party apps via their API. That's a big killer for me - I used Tweetbot to access Twitter to avoid all the clutter, ads, and recommended follows etc.
Should just have a single thread dedicated to culture war BS tbh

I'm still waiting to hear if a single user on this forum pays for twitter blue yet and if so, how are they liking it?
Also, bad press for tesla? Just surress it on twitter. That's fair.

Hmm, it seems like nearly all third party apps appear to have been broken since Thursday evening being unable to authenticate. I don't post on Twitter much any more but I do get a lot of radio related info from there and have many, many filters set so I don't see most of the political/toxic rubbish. If he's deliberately trying to kill all the third party apps and force everyone to use the official ones then that really will be the end of my relationship with the platform.
Yes, thatSee post above.
Cars breakdown or drivers make poor decisions but I fail to see how the Tesla car is at fault. It looked like it was pulling over and idiots drove into the back of the queue. The car may have been faulty but that wasn't the reason for the crash.
It's at fault because it stopped suddenly for no reason. If a driver did the same thing they'd likely be prosecuted in the UK.
The same Elon Musk who appears to be blocking people from using third party apps to access Twitter?
This is why free speech is important and why we should be thankful Elon Musk has it and not someone who is easily pushed around by governments
