Suman, yes I am running my ram with 1T.
Nikebee, mine's a cabye 0540FPAW.

Prime stable at 2.95Ghz on stock volts or 3Ghz at 1.55 volts. Very happy bunny :D and with that I'm gonna install FEAR then go to bed. I expect you to have crumbled and tried your 146 on the stock cooler by the time I wake! :lol:

still running a s478 P4 based system here.. got a DFI SLI-D in my shopping basket saved on OcUK just itching on the Checkout button... but wont have the cash until next week... :(
 
I pitty you. I was cranky enough working all day (12 hours) knowing it was sat at home. My 3dmark05 score is now breaking 6500 thanks to this badboy. Leaving it at 2.95Ghz 24/7 and 3Ghz for those special occassions.
 
Ahaha couldnt help myself ordered a 146 and it arrived this morning CABYE 0540FPMW and i'm pretty happy with it so far 1.55v at 300*10 ok for browsing and watching films but nothing too intensive, but my RAM is been really annoying for some reason it wants a lot of juice i can get it to run 1:1 at 300 with 3v going through it and it'll pass one loop of test 8 in memtest and then start 2 dump out loads of errors cause it gets too hot solution? Water cooling :D i'm looking into it now and when i get rid of the xp120 I can get some active cooling on the sticks and should sort out my problem

same stepping as me, im currently running 10x300 @ 1.45V and full load is 42c with the artic freezer64 :D
just debating over getting either a Thermalright SLK948U or SI-120 (will hopefully help cool the pwmic)

Im not sure how water cooling memory with about 5mm between dimm sockets will work. Also I think removing ** xp-120 will hinder your memory overclock, u want another 120mm on the ram imo. I had 15mm thick heatsinks on my BH-5 ram on nforce 2 not possible now with dimm clearance.

From the 146 results I've seen so far it seems FPMW and FPBW can consistently hit 3Ghz, but with FPAW it's a bit hit&miss and/or you need to use more volts? Is this kinda correct?

My FPMW doesn't hit 3ghz stable at default volts :(

I take it there's no cold bug on yours then?

Have you tried any more volts on it yet? I found that whilst mine scaled badly on air with more volts it scaled much better under phase.

Hi, what these chips like in desktop work?I do a lot of rendering with 3dmax7 and Combustion but i dont do this while i am gaming so i reckon X2 a bit OTT for me. I think i would rather have the extra speed in games and ar £100 it looks like a bargain :D
 
Just for a laugh, I ran Super Pi on one of the machines at work (we buy lots of resonably high-end Dells for our systems):

P4 3.4 Ghz Dell Precision 380 = 38 seconds for 1M SuperPi

Opty 144 @ 2.98 Ghz = 29 seconds for 1M SuperPi
