Agreed! From everywhere i've read and from the specs it looks like the best you can buy, but you have to pay for it i guess.benktlottie said:Thats a damn fine PSU mate ! One of the best I ever used !!

I take it there's no cold bug on yours then?
Have you tried any more volts on it yet? I found that whilst mine scaled badly on air with more volts it scaled much better under phase.
MadMossy said:Been tinkering about with my Opteron 146 today, got a water cooling kit on the way, but that wont arrive till monday so i decided to have a mess around with overclocking (using stock HSF). Currently running at 2.58Ghz 1.4v prime95 stable.

Still learning about A64 overclocking and all the timing stuff, its a lot more complex than good old Athlon TB/XP's
How about the Lian-Li v1000 cases very nice, but there around £120 though.

So you in Paignton MadMossy? I used live at the top of the Kings Ash Road in Paignton
MadMossy said:hehe, live 5 minutes from the Zoo at the mo, moved here about 3 years ago from Torquay road down near the sea front.
Jimbo Mahoney said:Except you can do a 'trick' jumper setting where using an additional normal jumper and ONLY having that in the 4v position (moving the big jumper block down one pin) unlocks upto 4v in the BIOS, but continues to run from the 3.3v rail.
Of course, you need to adjust your 3.3v rail to ACTUALLY get what you set in the BIOS. It will usually give a max of 3.3v rail - 0.1.
e.g. I have 3.6v on my 3.3v rail, allowing 3.5v max.
But otherwise, you're right. I wouldn't want to use the 'normal' 4v jumper setting.
kamz said:Hi by any chance anyone got a link or a graphically illustration on how this is done, i currently have my psu giving my 3.3, 3.4volts, but i am only able to use 3.2 though my 512 BH5, they are both running at 252 at 2,2,2,10 memtest prefect but would like to try and get them higer if possible...

Richdog said:Actually it is fine. All memory is safe to 3.2-3.3v... whether it is stable or not is another matter. It's only really 3.4v+ that you can run the risks of damaging memory.
