Maximum CPU voltage on my motherboard is 1.45v, can get to 1.55 with a simple voltage mod but i'm not going to do that....yet.

Don't want to go too high anyway as I'm only running the stock AMD HSF that came with the CPU, still have to get a A64 Freezer Pro yet.

Update: OCCT failed at 2950Mhz after 6 minutes.

bummer, but for the money you cant complain, my gigabyte ultra sli board wouldnt go over 230htt lol
 
Does anyone have one of these Opterons on a Epox 9NPA+ Ultra? Impressions, dissapointments etc. ?

I have an Epox 9NPA+ not Ultra, and I can get my htt at least to 300, stock chipset volts, but my mem won't even run at a 133 divider. I get into windows with a 100 divider, but I can't run SuperPi even at cpu 1.525v. I don't want to really push this too far tbh (gets warm). I'm happy with mine atm at 2340mhz.

I get good memory bandwidth too at 2.3.3.5 1T at 212mhz and I only have Geil Value!

Fireblade2K4, you get the same SuperPi as me, but your processor is 600mhz faster than mine???
 
290 * 10 +0.1vcore cabye 0540, on a epox 9npaj sli. Just did 14hrs prime95 at this speed and played battlefield 2. Im running in single channel though to get this, hoping for 300Mhz then I can test my cpu at 3Ghz. Im not concerned about anything other than cpu speed atm, but Im running 2228 2t atm.

Both of mine just arrived from a competitor ! Strainght in @ 3ghz on the CABYE 0540 FPMW 1341189J50013. Look at the batch number, 0013. I had a feeling these early batches might make the grade. Early days yet, but 3ghz straight in, IMPRESSIVE !

Funny thing is, I have another one unopened here that was purchased from the same place yesterday with a different stepping. It will be tested later and is a CABYE 0540 FPAW 1341287J50029 (again, another LOW batch number)

Pity the missus want to play HL2 now, or I would bench all afternoon....
