What speeds did you have it stable (as in stability testing) at?
 
fully stable only 2.4 ish. But like i said it feels stable at 2.8. never dropped out of windows or a game at 2.8. but doesnt pass any stability tests

Yeah very similar here. I'm wondering just how stable these chips are when people are claiming very high clocks at stock volts ! ;)
 
yeh me too. what mobo you using oliver? seems like im the only one overclocking with a 9npa+ sli. how come everyone staying away from this board?

Im running a DFI NF4 Ultra-D. I think most on here are tbh :)

My 144 CAB2E did 2.7GHz at stock volts completely stable, S&M, OCCT, SP2004 and the 3DMark series. Though above that I could only get 2.8GHz on 1.475v stable, didn't want to up the volts beyond that. It now has a new owner.

146 CABYE FPMW arriving today hopefully, pity I'm swamped with coursework til Wednesday morning. :mad:
 
Got a 144 CAB2E last week, been running totally stable all weekend at 2745mhz (9*305) on a DFI NF4 Ultra-D.

Goes thru OCCT fine, and ran Prime 95 solid for 11 hours with no errors

edit - maybe add a column for Super PI 1mb calculation perhaps?

edit is there a way to add a column to automatically calculate clock speed from the HTT and multiplier?

I was just about to suggest this. Calculating the the clock speed from the HTT and multi would be a very good idea if it's possible. :)
 
Just ordered an opteron 146 should be here in a day or two, just need the rest of the kit now so any suggestions on air cooled heatsink/fan, motherboard to get would be much appreciated.

Ps sorry if this question is in the wrong forum/thread but I thought that being that most if not all of you are using and overclocking these baby’s your the experts to ask.
