That was an excellent first episode. Colin Farell is unrecognisable.

Just from ep 1 alone this is now my #1 fav show of all time, above Breaking Bad, the sheer gritty nature of Gotham, the action, the acting especially is so convincing and fits the narrative style of the dark Gotham City we've come to expect and is perfectly aligned with the recent movies too.

Easy to pick up, it has a quick recap of the end of the film at the start of ep1. Though The Batman is def worth a watch if you haven't seen it already.

Another really good episode.

I did think Penguin seemed to get off lightly with his
accusation of Johnny Viti, but I guess that character probably isn't going to be around much longer now that he's given the photos of the affair to the Moronis

Oswald does seem to end up in a lot of near death situations.

Was going to try and binge the show once all episodes had dropped but scrapped that plan last night, caught the 1st 2 and yeah, cracking start. Writing and acting all top notch, Farrell is fantastic as is Miloti as Sofia, hell all the actors so far are knocking it out the park. Watched a lot of good shows so far this year but if it carries on with the quality I think it's a shoe in for best tv show of the year.
