Yeah, because the PS3 slim would be as small as the PS2 slim if it had an external PSU
Day one purchase for me i think! I really want a quiet PS3! I think i will box up my 60GB!

I never said it would, but it'll help balance it out, especially as I have my PS3 running for approx 60hrs a week.
Say I have the PS3 slim for another 2 years, that's a 30% saving on 6240hrs of use.

Ah ok now I got you.
Well when I said shine + chrome, I meant shine as in the shiney black finish of the case (as opposed to the bumpy matte finish) and the chrome is referring to the bit on the front
My trouble is that I'd consider a PS3 purely for Heavy Rain, however if I were to buy for just one game then the console would need to be at an enticing price. £250 doesn't cut it for me.
I'm in no way trying to turn this into a 360 vs PS3 debate, but if I didn't already own a 360 and I wanted to buy one say just so I could play Mass Effect 2, then I'd probably be able to do it all in all for £125 under some sort of special offer on a most basic 360.
I suppose what I'm getting as is where's the value for money, the 20 gig and 60 gig PS3 slims with varying accessories and scalable prices.

If you're only getting it for one game, then grab a pre-owned one for around £160ish from the MM, I guarantee there'll be good few crop up in the next couple of weeks.
