The lance itself makes more of a difference than the foam liquid does for creating a thick foam.
Granted you still want a decent snowfoam as you really want it to clean, not look cool, but the same liquids in my karcher lance are terrible at foaming compared to my CleanYourCar lance.

Parents are looking at the Polo now for a dog carrying car to go along side their Golf.
How can one tell if its a facelift car from 2014? It seems all the VW dealers within the area when you whittle the spec on the Polo down to DSG/Auto and petrol are either 2011, 2013 or 2017.
Ideally looking to spend £10k, £8k cash, £2k for their Jazz

I just ordered that to go with my new Karcher but it doesn't seem to be able to push the spring in far enough to allow me to rotate 90 dgrees. I have a feeling Karcher have changed their connection recently. Anyone know?

No, I used to have to top mine up at least once.
Just get a decent foam lance from the off.
Thanks, there's a pro Kleen or autobrite one on Amazon both are £35 and 1l capacity.

Facelift will have chrome inserts on the bottom front grill above the DRL's. They will also have a touchscreen. Pre-facelift models dont have the touchscreen. The facelift BlueGT however does not have the chrome inserts.
Go for SE/Match or above. Don't get the S and if they have the budget go for the TSI - The basic 1 lite BlueMotion is extremely sluggish.
£10k will easily get them a well specced TSI 5 door - Though deals on brand new are worth looking at and VW offer one years free insurance on the Polo.
