Cheers, I'm thinking of getting it printed as its one of my favorite photos I've taken.

At the time a car came into shot which caused the bright light to the right of the light house I was anoyed at the time, but think it ads to the effect.

i had a play with photoshop, but every thing i did made it look crap, so thats straight from the camera.

Is the blur in the first one real? It doesn't look quite right to me? Looks like a /lot/ of DoF for shooting at f/3.5

camera + lens = blur. 24 -70 f2.8 @ 3.5 presumably

nice wedding photos, i like the blur, makes you concentrate on the subject.

Balbowa, Did you need the iso so high ? as it shows a lot of noise.

The top one is a 1/1 crop. Hence the noise, it was quite dull when i took them, plus i had the 2x converter on

Hey guys and gals, First post on here.

Took these piccies on my Lumix DMC-LX5 in Oxford (around Merton College) last Sunday - I'm trying to get into photography and one of my ex co-workers is a photography buff and recommended this as a good point and shoot to get me onto the ladder.

And this was me just being bored
