I liquid metal'ed my Red Devil today, decided for fun to see how high I could go while running furmark, I reckon I could get more outta it or less vcore

Edit: I did get 2231mhz but program wouldn't let me go higher, need to get some game testing done

That's impressive i get around 78c with 2100 boost in-game 2070mhz at 1.180v fan 55% on my sapphire 5700xt nitro + se

I was stable before at 2060mhz ingame with 1150mv but temps sometimes did get bit high (did give pc a quick clean today so that's probably helping with temps too)

mine wont go that low voltage , how fast did the Red Devil fans spin at when the core was 76'ish ?

Thanks

I only let mine go to 55% so I think it reads 2K RPM or something in drivers so dunno if thats correct

Edit: so I seem to be stable currently at around 2150mhz in game, and memory at 1800mhz while playing Dirt Rally 2, obviously needs more testing to make 100% sure

same here have mine at 55% which gives me 2000rpm, I changed thermal paste but I guess its normal just find the noise annoying when rest of the system is doesnt make much noise when stressed maybe have to learn and get into water cooling

2150mhz in game is really high

I don't really hear my system all that much, only odd time when fans on XT used to spin up now and again, I'm using BeQuiet 500DX, BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 as my CPU cooler and ofcourse my Red Devil so its purely air, and yeah getting a extra 100mhz is pretty solid, I'm having to keep at 1250mv tho for stability but temps are fine

I have the Corsair 570x case with 6 X Corsair Q120 fans and 3 of them being on the kraken z73 aio , the 3 on the radiator only spin around 900rpm whilst gaming the 3 case fans I set to spin at 1100rpm when GPU temp gets to 70c

I hardly hear the fans just hear the graphics card fans maybe I'm less tolerate

I probably look into water cooling at some point

Had a few hours playing Strange Brigade yesterday at 1440p Ultra. Runs around 120fps+, my Red Devil at 2020MHz and 1750MHz on the memory. Temperatures seemed reasonable too. In conjunction with my 3700X and 32GB C14 RAM it's by far the smoothest, coolest system I've owned.

No need for an upgrade for a while, fortunately a lack of funds prevents me from buying any of the new shiny about to release :)

Edit: I will add for anyone experiencing issues, this was a new build with fresh W10 install on an X570 motherboard. No issues so far, built on release.

Good stuff. You should be able to get the core to max out around 2150Mhz in GPU Tuning, but the amount of voltage you need to achieve that could vary from 1.150-1.200v. Actual in game core clock will be a minimum of 50Mhz+ lower than that though.

The memory may also be stable and max out at around 1800-1850Mhz.

Cheers, I'll have to have a thinker with it. I'm not the most demanding of users but at 1440p this system is doing everything I need at the moment. I think I'll wait for ray tracing to mature then upgrade. I'll go to 4 K once midrange cards can perform like this 5700XT can at 1440p.

I got mine today from MM as an upgrade to a RX580 (major bottleneck). I'm surprised how even low end games run smoother with it. Vulcan based stuff runs like a dream. So far I'm glad I didn't spend more on something else.

I was really lucky that it fit in my case. I had to put it in at an angle and rotate it round.
