For the ROH please Kaap.

It is about 6-7% faster than my 6900 XTXH at 4K in Days Gone, despite the core clock only being stable up to about 2.7Ghz at stock voltage.

The faster memory speed (2124Mhz vs 2414Mhz) accounts for all of the performance increase, despite the core clock being 100Mhz+ slower than what was achievable on the 6900 XTXH.

One thing to mention, there is absolutely no pump noise/whine at all, looks like that has been completely resolved and it is silent.

Big up to OcuK and Giibo for the excellent service.

Might have to make do with that for the rest of the year lol. It's very likely the 4000/7000 GPU's will get held back with $15bn of 3000 series to flow onto the used market worldwide!

Heh, got a 6900 XTXH (for a few more days at least), 6750 XT, 6950 XT and a 3090. Don't need any new GPUs for a while yet.

Stock clocks out of the box are 2639 core and 2248 VRAM.
Currently running 2771 Core and 2360 Mem with a 5% undervolt and power limit reduced to 95%.
Custom fan curve for temps because the stock curve is absolute tosh.

I’m toying between 6950xt and 3090. Not fussed about RT hence looking at AMD but are there other aspects I should be considering. The 6950xt is obviously cheaper!

As above, what games and resolution are you using? Unless you want heavy RT, the 6950 XT is a level above a 3090.

Like Matt said, 6950 XT is a level above a 3090 and cheaper to boot.
Check out Gamers Nexus' review and benchmarking for a good in-depth comparison with about a dozen other cards.

TL;DW is that for 1080p and 1440p the 6950 almost always beats or ties with the 3090 in the games tested, all recent AAA titles.
At anything below 4K the 6950 even beats the 3090Ti a good amount of the time at about half the price.
