It's such a remarkable card in terms of how cool and quiet it runs, regardless of far you push it - and you can really push it! You'll love it!
This is really good to know as I totally value a nice quiet card..

Based on what you are planning to do, I would go for this and save the extra money. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sapp...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-39e-sp.htmlHi everyone,
After ordering a 3080 way back in September and no sign of anything possibly being delivered in the near future, I cancelled my pre-order with OCUK. I'm now looking at buying a 6900XT given that surprisingly there are some in stock on the site. My question is should i go for the reference card style from PowerColor or Sapphire or spend an extra couple of hundred on the Sapphire Nitro+ OC? I'm not intending to do any overclocking. I've seen in some posts that users have complained of coil whine - if anyone here owns the Nitro+OC, have they experienced anything similar?
I did some folding for a while last year on my 5700 XT although I don't recall the temps at the time. I would have thought folding was similar to mining though and if that is the case, then you can turn the core clock right down as it's the memory bandwidth that provides the computing power. I've been mining a bit with my card and with the memory slider maxed out but with the clocks turned down to 1400 Mhz, my fans are running at 36% and a temp of 59 degrees with 100% GPU utilisation. You may not need to pushing your card so hard to be perform the folding?Ooh, it heats up. When folding it gets really hot obviously on majority of games it is half asleep
No coil whine on Red Devil.Hi everyone,

No idea mate but @Too Tall might know.Ok so I'm going to expose my ignorance here and admit that I thought that the metal stand things bundled with my Red Devil card were for supporting the card given it's size and weight when mounted horizontally. I've since started to suspect that this is a kit for mounting vertically but there no real instructions for illustrations to that effect that I saw in the box. Can anyone enlighten me?
Can anyone enlighten me?
Good shout! Or measurer?**** straightener?
Try disabling compatibility support module (CSM) under the Boot menu in the BIOS.
Try the latest BIOS.done this, no change. I still have to clear CMOS to get into bios and that sometimes throws up a GPU error on the post code thing. Might try a new MB bios or just reflash with the same one.
it’s weird. I tried smashing delete, I’ve tried holding shift when I select restart in windows and choosing boot into bios. My monitor (Samsung G9 49inch) doesn’t even turn on until windows log in screen.
Still not running 240hz either as it feels like it’s at 60hz when I select it. Strange. Don’t blame AMD on that one because Nvidia has the same issues.
In other news I might buy a water block for it tomorrow, even though the reference cooler is miles better than the Vega56 blower!

Nice, but your stock cooler is giving my nerdiness, anxiety
