You need to install Windows in UEFI mode and to do that you neee CSM set to disabled, secure boot on, then you can enable Bar.Thanks, If only installation came easy
5700xt was in secondary pcie slot. Now with AIO, I thought I'll move 6900xt to primary slot.
Started PC, went into windows, I thought, I need to reboot quickly, maybe I forgot to set pcie modes to gen 4. Check BIOS, all seems ok. Then in the maze of x570 BIOS, I notice the resizable BAR is available. And in order enable it I have to disable CSM. So I do that, enable snickers bar, save, restart. Goes straight to BIOS again. Non of my SSDs are available to select as boot devices, and can't even select different boot order. Enable CSM back, save, restart, blank screen. Reset the BIOS, load the profile which worked for me before, select my boot drive as appropriate. Save, restart, boots straight into BIOS
Thought that would be great time to update BIOS to agesa 1.2.0.
And now I seem to be able to boot into windows. But I guess I'm not touching rebar for some time

Try disabling compatibility support module (CSM) under the Boot menu in the BIOS.

Very nice, I love flannelette bed linen!
Yeah it's normal. The 6900 XT requires a 5000 series CPU for optimal performance. Was on Pubg last night.
Running a steady 2300/2005 @1075mv.
Maxed out on Ultra. 1440p.
GPU Usage was jumping around a bit depending on what map I was on.
Dipping down into mid 30% but also pushing up to 99%.
Ran Furmark afterwards and GPU holding at 99%.
Is this normal?.
Yeah it's normal. The 6900 XT requires a 5000 series CPU for optimal performance.
If you could switch to a 5900X, or even a 5800X and also enable Smart Access Memory, you'd see your GPU utilization remain at 99% solid more frequently.
A monster of a GPU needs a CPU with high IPC to drive it.
5800X is available right now at RRP, but can't see stock for the higher models atm.Yeah, that makes sense, I have enabled SAM in the Motherboard bios and it shows as large memory access in Device manager, but like you say, the 3900X is not letting it fully stretch its legs.
Maybe the next upgrade when there not vaporware/Scalped to ****.
It's such a remarkable card in terms of how cool and quiet it runs, regardless of far you push it - and you can really push it! You'll love it!Ordered a Red Devil, will send a pic when it lands! Cannot wait
