No, I’ve never managed to get near the first score I achieved with my first (now sold) Nitro.Any boosts to your Port Royal scores with the new drivers @LtMatt ? I’ve seen some reports of 500 points increases.

I got almost a 700pt increase (see here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...al-bench-thread.18838895/page-8#post-36224539) - but my score was nowhere near LTMatt's to begin with. CPU seems to make quite a difference in the results looking across the whole table - I'd have expected this test to isolate the GPU much more.Any boosts to your Port Royal scores with the new drivers @LtMatt ? I did exactly that. I swapped my 5800X for a 3D. It improved my fps significantly. Much cheaper than a 7000 series upgrade.WOuld there be any point in me grabbing a 5800X3D - Currently on an 5800X standard, but obviously have my 7900XTX - I game mainly on my 4k TV downstairs so not sure there would be much point for the cost at that resolution?

BYKSKI GPU WATER BLOCK FOR SAPPHIRE RX 7900 XTX NITRO+, FULL COVER WITH BACKPLATE PC WATER COOLING COOLER, A-SP7900XTX-X
I've had one on my 6900xt to very good effect. Half the money of ek for the same performance sounds good to me!Won’t touch them. Had one a while ago and it corroded. Not on water these days.
Red Dead Redemption 2, 4K max settings (No MSAA) no problems getting well over 100 FPS on the XTX Nitro.
I’ve never played it. My card is great. My issue is that the hit is too great when recording for me. It’s a 50fps drop. I record for review purposes so I can see what mistakes I’m making etc. This is esp useful with BR games.
With AMD, I find it's best to use HEVC for recording. The quality is good (better than AMD H.264), the file sizes are smaller (than AMD H.264), and the performance hit from recording is 1-2FPS.I’ve never played it. My card is great. It's one area where the XTX does better than the 4090, gameplay recording hit. The 4090 costs around 5-6 FPS vs recording, whereas HEVC on the XTX costs me 1-2 FPS.
These are the settings I used if anyone would like to try them.
XTX - HEVC, 100Mbps, 60 FPS, AUDIO 112Kbps - using AMD Software ReLive.
4090 H.264 100Mbps, 60 FPS. Can't adjust audio quality - using Nvidia Shadowplay.
On AMD you can also use the AV1 codec for recording. It's slightly better quality vs HEVC but also has a similar performance hit to H.264 on the 4090.
66c hotspot at 460 watts? is that under water?Red Dead Redemption 2, 4K max settings (No MSAA) no problems getting well over 100 FPS on the XTX Nitro.
Have a look at the video above, that was 100Mbps and the quality is decent.I’ll have another look. I’m in 1440p and hevc looked blurred. I’ll up the bitrate and have another go.
Sorry. I didn’t read it properly. I can see it’s relive. I’ll give it a try.Are you using relive for this? I use Obs at the moment.
Have you done something to the card to get memory temps that low? my nitro has higher idle memory temps than that lolRed Dead Redemption 2, 4K max settings (No MSAA) no problems getting well over 100 FPS on the XTX Nitro.
