Tax evasion eh nice one Neil you hypocrite. Perhaps any titles won when him and Hartson were playing should be stripped.

Down to the third with them as well :D

Looking forward to Sunday although ill be busy taking photos throughout the dat.

Nelly appears to be carrying a knock so looks like Andrews will be in goal. who's your first choice keeper? Could have his work cut out against dalziel, McKenna and Jackson assisted by tiger, carcary Stewart and Garry Brady :D

McCoist's statement is a good one, still doesn't get that division three is for going into liquidation not for the EBTs and everything else.

Rangers Official

"No one is denying that Rangers were badly mismanaged for 10 months. Nor are we disputing that we should be punished for that. We have been. We accept that punishment and want to start putting the past behind us and move forward.

"But that is not being allowed to happen - and I have to ask myself why?

Bit more than 10 months Ally. ;)

Hopefully when membership in full is handed over on Friday we can start a vote of no confidence for Regan at SFA I'm sure we'd have the backing of fellow SFL clubs who tried for one when the SFA/SPL were trying to bully them to put us in Div 1.

Or how about accepting that Rangers caused the entire situation in the first place and just being quiet and getting on with the job of playing football ?

Because the mess that was caused by the oldco hasn't anything to do with the newco? The SPL only had any hold on the newco has part of the negotiations for SPL membership, since they've not allowed the SPL share to be transferred to the newco, it's absolutely none of their business whether the SFA grants them membership.

So you reckon the newco has nothing to do with the oldco?

Is that a fresh start on the trophy count too?

The two of them are inextricably linked - it's unavoidable.

Yes, it is a new start on the trophy count as well - I don't think most people understand what has actually been happening to Rangers the past 6 months - even Ally McCoist seems to think being put in the SFL3 is a punishment. It's not a punishment, it's where new clubs start. Hell, the SFL did them a big favour in not opening the application up to other interested parties.

Indeed, Rangers have been done a favour as they could have been made to wait a year or few before even getting in to the 3rd but my point was more that McMav wants to get in there and start causing a fuss as soon as it is ratified instead of just getting on with it and being humble about the mess his club has caused and being grateful that they can still play football in a professional league.

But McMav is right, there are serious questions to be asked of all parties involved, especially Doncaster at the SPL and Regan at the SFA over their handling of the fiasco.
