I think Rotty meant to get back on topic, not to get the last word in and then insist everybody else get back on topic.
Talk of Newcastle/Sports Direct guy putting money in. What puzzles me is what the money would be spent on. Virtually no wage or transfer expenses, Ibrox doesn't warrant an expansion... there's no debt to pay off. What investment could be done?
or Rangers getting to the SPL?
The way Rangers played today... it could be a long time. So embarrassing the best they can do is draw with a part time team. Part time!
BTW can a mod now close this thread as the club that is rangers is now under new ownership and is no longer in administration and we have other threads now for the football. thanks,
Rangers (the football club) are no longer in administration. The business which previously run the club is still in administration pending its liquidation.
There is no new club - the businesses assetts, including the football club (i.e transferral of membership) was sold to a new company. The paying of football debts by the newco confirms that it is the same club, formed in 1872, having won 54 Scottish league championships.
The company currently in administration is now called RFC 2012 PLC, so it is factually correct to say that Rangers are no linger in administration and the request to have the thread closed is valid.
As mentioned previously, still unresolved issues that suggest this thread should remain open, so not to fill the football threads with updates.
Where else can we discuss EBTs, dual contracts, title stripping without clogging up another thread?![]()
The saga continues -
'The Scottish Premier League has ordered Rangers to remove all archive footage of their top-flight matches from their website because the club does not own the copyright to he highlights.'
'Dundee United have confirmed that debts owed to the club from Rangers oldco have not yet been paid, contrary to claims from newco owner Charles Green.'
