Well clearly the names should have stayed a secret. So all of a sudden the scottish media can actually investigate something? Shame they didnt investigate Whyte more....

Now the police are investigating death threats and harassment of the panel memebers and directors of the SFA.

Maybe McCoist should now take a good long look at himself and his comments, as the Rangers fans\thugs have lapped it up and look whats happening now.

Pretty sure McCoist should be up on a charge now as well.

I just heard the news about the appeals panel being threatened.

There is now ZERO chance of any appeal being successful.

Even if HMRC lose the case, they will appeal, same if Rangers lose, but either way Rangers don't have the luxury of time. The adminstrators have already said the club is still running a loss, despite cut backs at all levels and that's with gate income.

Whats a police station on London Road got to do with anything? Are we all supposed to be Celtic fans or something?

McCoist was wrong to say the guys on the panel should be named, completely wrong, what was the reasoning for it? Why did he need to know? The only outcome is whats happening, where they would be named and then subjected to bigoted abuse and threats.

There also seems to be a problem with Rangers fans hearing the word transparency and thinking this means that they should know who was on the committee, transparency doesnt mean this whatsoever.

With this nonsense any support Rangers had among third parties will start to dissolve.

i would like to also point out here that i hold no truck with any threats, just the same as the tubes who sent the parcels too lennon, completely unaceptabe.

There was no need for the names to come out, what would it matter who was on the list? All that has happened is Rangers fans have tried to come up with links to make them Celtic minded (like Regan's brother who is apparently an irish sympathiser).

Its so ridiculous its laughable and just drives further nails into your coffin, the lid cant be clamped down too soon.

if you think mccoist didnt know who the three were then i just dont know whats to say, a man with conections like ally? anyway i knew who they were so did all of my supporters club and i live miles from glasgow.Just because you ask for people to be named in the public domain doesnt necessarily mean you personaly dont know the names.

Why? There is obvious reasons for keeping their names under wraps, given that Rangers had a representative at the meeting, it was done in full view of them, the fans did not need to know.

Great post on P&B really sums this up.

The most damning indictment possible of Rangers fans is the fact that nothing that's happened recently comes as a surprise. I think pretty much all of us fully expect Fatty McCoist to throw a tear stained tantrum demanding "answers", followed by a large number of the social degenerates that support them to issue death threats. Indeed, it would have been a shock if there hadn't been any threat or intimidation.

Quite a few clubs have fallen foul of the rules in recent years. Ourselves, Livingston and Gretna have all been punished to varying degrees for going into administration. Hearts seem to be permanently getting on the SFA's ****. Hamilton were relegated after a player strike to name but a few.

NONE of those clubs fans to my knowledge issued a single death threat against anyone involved. Only the Old Firm, and in particular the perma-raging brain-donors that follow Rangers. I really really hope this puts the SFA's backs up for the appeal and they wipe the floor with the *****. It would be the best piece of telt ever if they were to give McCoist a year's touchline ban for incitement, shortly after upholding Whyte's fine and doubling the embargo.

It's an oft-used analogy in this thread, but Rangers are like the school bully who finally been given a taste of his own medicine. They don't know how to handle everyone else finally standing up to them and devolved into a tear stained lash out at anyone and everyone. The current state of play is the playground equivalent of the fat **** being decked and all the little kids who've suffered at his hands for year kicking the **** out of them.

Don't stop. Keep the kicks coming. Make these worthless ********* suffer until they finally die a pitiful whimpering death.

Today has shown that these ****** will never change. They're ******* ****.
