The rise and normalisation of OnlyFans

From an outsider's perspective I don't know whether to see it as empowering or degrading. Maybe a bit of both of that's possible lol.
does it have to be either?

I see it as no different to any other form of massage (including full on in that as well)

imo the whole thing should be legalised in authorised places which have regular health checks, random spot checks as well as councillor available for those who want to

I accept there are complications due to trafficking and people forced into it by pimps etc which is why I would clamp down onnkirb.crawlibg and some shadier stuff but I have always felt it was fundamentally wrong government / law forcing what 2 consenting adults do with their bodies.

and as for degrading... that is a morality argument which has no place in this kind of thing. close minded nonsense imo and it says more about the judger than the judgee imo

Maybe if they want to sit on reception all day. But if they want an career such as being a doctor. Having an sexual history broadcasted there on the internet wont make it easy for them.
Why not though? Why does and why should it make any difference?

As I said, its about reputation.

Same reason, if you have a criminal record you cant apply for certain jobs. Doesnt matter if you are qualified or not to do the job. Because you have a history of what's not favourable, they don't want to take the risk of damaging their organizations reputation.

We don't make the rules, the market does :)

Yes, just Google escort services. Plenty of those around and easy to get an incall/outcall if you're willing to stump up. Nothing illegal about it.

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic or not.Ha

There is definitely something wrong with selling your body for someone else. Even when prostitution is legal, people go to great heights to hide what they do. Most people believe it's illegal, it's that unnormal. I wouldn't want to marry a prostitute, online or otherwise.

You’re not answering my question. Why would posting on OF damage your reputation?
And why should it?

It is strange when the wet pants are so busy changing the world that this just slips through without a Karen loosing her ****.

In a world full of influencers that open their legs to jet around the world and others of a similar vein I'll have to admit I do not give a **** what they do to earn money as long as it does not affect me or my family.

I disagree.... on both counts. the fact you are judging the person saying it's immoral is your issue imo. forgetting people forced into it by a dodgy pinp which I accept is an issue and needs to be address what is it to do with you or anyone what a man or woman do with their body. no one else is harmed. I am married an would not use the services of one but say I was long term single and for what ever reason women had no interest in me, why should I not get any companionship even if it is paid for .

would I marry a call girl or adult film star? no but an ex one sure....... ultimately that is my issue however . I would not date a smoker either. infarct there are a lot of things which would put me off dating someone but I don't think they are immoral per se and it would not stop me ging them a job. I do agree some people do judge and it is awkward.... and that is the decision the person has to make. I know someone who did an Abby winters shoot on holiday. it paid a big chunk of it. she probably would not want that getting out esp as she has a PhD now.. but I don't judge her for it. I know a few swingers (happily married) as well. again that is their life style and they are happy . there is a risk of it got out some would judge and I think it is sad. some people of a given religious persuasion think a woman should keep their face covered when out in public and if they don't it's immoral. to me that is on the same road just further down it.

as for the legalities. I am not that clued in but I believe an escort you pay for the company..... if services are directly offered for cash as I understand it that is technically illegal but no one does anything about it. paying for someone to go on a date with you is fine.

I remember a number of years back when the feminists were cancelled glamour models, grid girls etc

This the world they created
People sell their body for a lot less (labourers, warehouse workers) in a much more severe way. I'm totally for it.
The going rate is actually 100-150 an hour which is about 12+ times higher than a labourer or warehouse worker surely

They won't be lifting packages for the whole hour either

Monster Energy Girls :D

I can’t believe the money people drop on OF - A monthly subscription to a person/channel, plus £50+ per ’special video’. No wonder it’s possible to earn £100k a month if you’re an ex z-lister reality ‘celeb’.

takes all sorts I guess. I am not gonna lie and say I have never looked at a bit of adult material but it boggles me that expensive sites still exist with he gigabytes of free stuff out there.

shame rest in a way as sites like Abby winters are apparently far far more supportive of their models and given them a safe working environment.
