I dont have kids.
99% sure i wont have them in future.
Now i used to think like you when i was young, on a ultra basic animal level, then yes. Procreation reproduction is the only goal of life.
This was probably true up until the 20th centaury where medicine and standards of living have shot up.
No longer do you need to sire 12 kids for a chance for 1 or 2 to not die by the age of 6. (over generalisation)
I dont even see the point of adding another 1 or 2 genetic offspring of me and my soon to be wife.
When i die, ill be dead. Nothing will matter kids or not.
Human race can easily cope without my genes, some council estate bint with 6 kids from 6 dags is doing more for the gene pool than me.
 
Biologically I might exist to propagate the species, doesn't mean if I choose not to that my life has no meaning.

You make your own life meaning, don't let others, or nature, dictate it. ;)
 
I doubt it's coincidence that the youtube algorithm put this into my suggest feed probably from the overclockers pool, 1 of you must be a fan of this guy as it's the first time I see him appear and I don't watch any lift bro's


No idea the veracity of the claims but it's not the first time I've heard them and it wouldn't surprise me if it's true, basically the internet has ****** things up, there's a lot of warped distortions people have gotten since the internet
 
never seen him before either, but do women really find that attractive?????? seems way too much for me (I am a straight bloke but think i can usually tell when someone is good looking or not)

Oh no, that's the plan if the current Mrs SPG gets on my nerves or she dumps me. But it will be a nice campervan where the dog is not allowed on the seats/bed (well you say that it would last about 2hrs) :)
 
I heard a fact today that on average you spend 80% of your time inside.

It's not the case for me as my job requires me to work outside but it was quite a shocking fact.

This may well have something to do with it ... People just don't get out and about as much anymore.
 
Good evening. I've obviously missed this thread until now...

I am one. And I don't care. When it comes to women: Been there, done that, it was a ballache. I have a daughter and two granddaughters at the age of 44, they're doing well and that's all I care about. They live in the States so I don't see much of them...
I have a metric ****-tonne of assorted hifi components cluttering up the house, a fat PC, a big telly and a messy bedroom. Because I can :D
 
Perhaps men aren't the issue. Perhaps it's what women have become? I get on well with my female colleagues at work, but will say quite happily that I find the older women (50+) to be far more interesting and engaging on the whole.

No you're not. You're defining your own idea of "success". If the ultimate goal if a species is to reproduce then individuals of that species who don't reproduce for whatever reason are "failures". It doesn't matter if that's because they are too smart and have become preoccupied with other things or are too weak to survive as traditionally happened in the past - both are still a failure to the species.
 
The industrial revolution has caused a massive population explosion.
Modern farming, power, housing have allowed more people than could be supported naturally.
It would be an utter disaster if we as a race where to take a step backwards and loose the technology we already have.
Millions would die as a result.
There are so many of us it hardly matters if you choose to have children or not.
 
It comes down to choice.

Back in the day how did you meet a potential partner? - Through family friends, mates, go out to the local pub/bar. Now though an average looking woman has many options- Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tinder, Bumble, Hinge.

Your average Joe that earns average wage doing an average job driving a Ford Fiesta has little to no chance. There's guys earning £60/70k+ a year driving flashy cars and have their own flat. They are going for the average looking women not the 8/9 out of 10.

At the end of the day Women are generally more careful and picky and they have every right to be so there is more at risk for them. If the woman chooses the wrong partner they could be harmed. If a man ends up accidentally getting a woman pregnant they could walk away (scummy thing to do), the woman however has to deal with the consequences.

I have seen on dating apps women being extremely picky, "Must be 6ft or over" putting nothing in their bio, just two photos, sometimes one. Some of them using filtered photos only. I hate to say it but being a man who isn't white doesn't help either. Many women are put off by different cultures/ethnicities without any experience of them.

All we can do as men is push each other to improve- get in shape, become wealthier, increase your value.
