The Rise of Lonely Single Straight Men

I'm extremely comfortable lonely or otherwise. I only really got married due to external pressures.

There's no logical point or benefit to marriage really. If you really love someone, you don't need a certificate or God's approval to prove it. It only makes things harder and more complicated if you split up and doesn't really add any stability for any children involved; only makes it more likely that an unhappy couple will stay together, which is no good for anyone.

Cannot believe Modric takes the top spot he’s better looking than me with a nice head of hair. Also Charlie Adam looks ok to me with his bald shaven head, again better looking than me.

I agree Mesut Ozil, Frank Ribery, Scott Gemmil, Iain Dowie and Joleon Lescott aren’t great lookers. Peter Crouch is ok though and I always thought Ronaldinho looked ok too.

Some shouldn’t even be on that list, god knows where I’d end up if I was on it.

That's one of the stupidest articles I've ever read and totally goes to prove that the whole concept of 'ugly' is stupid - because lets face it, I bet all those guys have got banging girlfriends/wives.

If you're physically fit - you're attractive, regardless. I'd say this works for both sexes too.

Yer, if you're looking to pull the type of woman who wants a WAG lifestyle.

But you don't have to find a 'WAG' type to not be single. Plenty of decent single women out there that don't need a man to pay for them.

If I were to stand next to either of them at the gym, I'd not expect to get much of a look in either. I'm much older and much less fit.

I'm not even sure her eyeline is looking at either of them, I'm sure she's more thinking she was about to get in the way of the guys photo than lusting over either of them. What a weird photo to make a point with.

Ignoring the obvious fact that this is literally just a picture with no context, the guy on the left is actually in far better shape, the guy on the right could've been training for about 9 months, the guy on the left is probably 2-5 years
