The rise of OnlyFans

There was a thing popped up in my social media the other day about somebody that paid (I think) £20k to give his favourite (!) Only Fans “model” a hug irl.

She was then posting about the great holiday she had with her boyfriend with the money

It’s a sad reflection of modern society.
While in the past a few of these stories that did exist were true now the OF models are faking them so that they go viral and drive more traffic to their page.

Your search feed is generally things that the algorithm knows you look at when it’s presented to you.

If you only ever look at house plants, you’ll only get house plant content via the algorithm.

Not how I'm seeing it, my use isn't extensive but none of the keywords at the top of the search/explore screen or 90% of the content are relevant to my usage and largely it isn't stuff I look at specifically, especially not the silly videos of people playing pranks, etc. which I just find silly.

I know one who does it. Though not in the same way mentioned above.

She earns a LOT, but it comes with problems, e.g. not able to get a mortgage as it's not seen as a regular/legit employment. She has to have her partner put his name to everything.

It’s why I refuse to pay tax on a lot of my previous earnings. If I’m not allowed to declare it as income, I’m not willing to be taxed on it as income. Onlyfans has been a godsend for independent content creators and I’ve now got 2 houses under my belt based on it since Covid.

That's all been kicked in the head since they can now buy adverts that seem to appear in all feeds. And a lot of the OF brigade seem to use tags like gamer girl and stuff like that, they basically jump on the bandwagon of anything that's trending so odds are you're gonna see them regardless of your preferences.

If you look into a mirror and say 'OnlyFans' five times HurfDurf appears behind you.

If you don’t ever use it, but when you do you have happened to have viewed something the algorithm has picked up about you, it will only base it on that tiny slither of information.

Try looking at one particular hobby, such as a car or boat you like, or custom PC, or sport, and you’ll get a lot more of that in your explore / search feed.

I don't use it as little as don't ever use it, but mostly my feed is friends doing cooking/food stuff or hiking and my interests on there are mostly related to additional content by YouTubers I follow - barely any of that stuff appears in the explore/search feature.

I noticed it with really bland stuff like Astrid Wett, Ellie Brooks and the other soccer girls giving the soccer fans what they wanted, I’ve not seen it in less mainstream hobbies though?

Gamers are easy pickings simp wise, always have been. Guys who game and identify as gamers don’t tend to get a lot of female attention.

Personally I'd find it hilarious if the site went down the crapper just to see them scrambling to try and keep their Simps on the hook. Though there are other sites like OF so might not trouble them too much overall if it did collapse, or they made another ruling about not having porn content which was close to occurring a few years ago.
the one i was thinking of was were one of the simps sent a donation and she missed the message as she had walked out of the room by the time it played. or soemthing like that. it was over internets at the time.

Conversation about a site where women can get naked and more, turns into users singling out a user on his potential points before he's even commented. No surprises there OCUK.

I know people on OF, ones that make a fair whack of money and some who do not.
The ones who make the most are actually the people you really do not want to deal with, the levels of narcissism is insane.
But also as established, if they got more than 50 people, they have some geezer online doing all their chatting work.

End of the day though, does it mean you deserve for people to be rude about you?
We are all just trying our best to make it through this tough old world and life.

There are users on here with jobs that I respect less, than an OF girl.

Interesting, I don’t know why that is. Every user I’ve spoken to seems to get stuff related to them in the explore field. I’d of thought if you had cooking stuff in your feed, you would get lots of alternative cooking content in your feed.

Said people shouldn't be demonised either, not everything is blessed with good looks and confidence to go with it, not saying you are demonising them but they are generally.
