Cleans some of it up v nicely! I'm presuming using RT is a separate thing and can be used in conjunction with it?

It's just a texture mod, RT will just enhance any reflective properties of the material :)

Hulk Hogan is now in Cyberpunk 2077? :p

No, His 3 times removed step cousin on his mothers side loosely related to his great aunt who's also a product of incest, Halk.

Atomic heart out now but apparently RT will arrive later :( On the plus side, the game looks great without RT and seems to run extremely well, makes a change! Still too busy enjoying hogwarts though so probably won't get around to playing it till next month.

That doesn't fill me with confidence, it sounds like they're just bunging RT on top. I suspect it won't be a fantastic implementation.

It's on gamepass though, so will likely find out soon.

Very possible given the length of time the game has been in development for i.e. before RT was brought about....

Odd though considering the downloadable Atomic Heart tech demo you can still get showcases all the RT effects and was sponsored by Nvidia... you'd think Nvidia would want them to have RT ready for launch.

Reactions: TNA
Speaking of Atomic Heart, I read earlier on the dear diary website twitter that activists after epicly failing with their Hogwarts crusade may now be going after Atomic Heart labelling it Russian propaganda... these people need a 12 month rent free stay in a fully ray traced asylum with free straight jackets and rubber wallpaper.

Probably don't want any more harm being done to the "RTX"/ray tracing image since last couple of releases have tarnished rtx/ray tracing i.e. hogwarts and forspoken.

Just trying out atomic heart there and holy crap, this game is extremely well optimised! 5160x2160 with dlss quality and everything maxed and still getting these fps for the visuals on display

Think I am going to wait before playing anymore to see what RT brings.

TBH it does look good even without RT although reviews were less than enthusiastic on gameplay.
Seems a mixed bag, some love it and rate it very highly others less so.

I've only played a short amount but so far it reminds me of bioshock. Only complaints from me is the lines from your main character and no run, no hdr, no fov adjustment (even on 21.9, feels too zoomed in) but get the impression this was a gameplay art design choice.

FOV can be changed using Flawless Widescreen.
Also I can’t remember UE4 game that was stutter free on release day.
Clearly it can be done and just for that fact I would give the game high score.
