Franny Jeffers;) 1 goal 1/2 game!!!
Is he a current England striker? :/

I suppose it depends on your view of current, but I wouldn't call him that. Can think of plenty of other things to call him instead ;)

Im sorta on the fence with Crouch.
I dont think he's as good as some people make out. But i also dont think he's as bad as others make out either.

Crouch is a decent player, like you say he isn't as bad as people make out or as good as some people make out. He's a player that plays well in a system that suits him. He is ideally suited to playing for Liverpool, he holds the ball up extremely well which allows him to link up with the midfield (which is Liverpools strength) , he's not great in the air but because of the height of him he will always win his fair share of balls played up to him.
I personally like him but know that we won't win the league with him as our main striker, but he's ideal for away trips to rougher sides (bolton blackburn etc) or against the bigger sides and also gives Liverpool a different option up front for other games.

AC Milan have launched a £20 million bid for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani instructed an agent to make the offer after a conversation with Drogba yesterday.

Galliani bumped into the Ivorian at a restaurant during dinner and spoke with the Chelsea man for 15 minutes.

After the chance meeting, Galliani is reported to have given one of Milan's agents the green light to contact Chelsea about a £20 million bid.

This time last year I would have loved to offload DD for a fraction of that.
Now there's not a chance in hell he will go anywhere this season, rightly so too:)

When he first joined I was disappointed as he didn't get 1000s of goals, but that's not what he's about. When you actually watch his play & what he adds to the team you can see why JM likes him so much:)

What do you think of the Eurosport link I posted?

Not sure to be honest. Every half decent player gets linked with Chelsea now so it could just be the usual nonsense. JM did go to the South American cup final thing (can't remember the name) at the end of last season & rumours then were he was looking at Tevez so there could be some truth in it.
The stuff about us buying him then loaning him out just to stop other teams having him is rubbish though that's for sure:)

ok you say that why?

he has a good goal scoring record, and for a striker, thats what matters.

We've just dumped one striker with a far better PROVEN scoring record in this league because he was a lazy mofo, Trez isnt fit to even look at Ruud's boots let alone tie them.

Well lads, 2 days left until the gates at every club are closed to transfers. Does anyone realistically see any signings for their club in the next 48hrs?

Chelsea have to get a LB, whether it's Cole (apparently Gallas being a greedy **** is making this awkward) or that French lad Abidal(?) or A N Other I've no idea:)

Ronaldinho. Unhappy over being benched moves to Old Trafford.

You took yer time. First time I saw him I said he was exactly what Chelsea needed.

I agree, but I thought he was bought to score goals alone which is also what we needed at that time:)
